It sucks we only get to see 10mins of show! I live USA and I have wait tomorrow to see this full episode

It's actually 22 minutes per show but I only post the Ste and/or Harry scenes. NOT the whole show. If they are in the whole 22 minutes (like the Ryan/Amy wedding, I will post the whole episode)

If Erica Love posted full episodes prior to them being aired on Channel 4 in the UK, her channel wouldn`t last long. So I think you should be grateful she takes the trouble of editing and uploading the selected story lines and characters as she does.

Since this is not the official Hollyoaks channel I hope I don`t get anyone in trouble mentioning there are a couple of channels on Dailymotion which uploads episodes a few hours after the UK Channel 4 premiere. Sometimes some brave souls even attempt to upload shortly after the E4 premiere, but those uploads tend not to last long. The episode of Friday 26th is available on Dailymotion right now.

Oohhh this is much more interesting than just making Harry another pitiable victim thanks to Ryan. Harry turned himself in cos he doesn't want to hurt anyone else but he still can't face the "truth" of what he's done. He's desperately trying to blame anyone but himself and it's too painful for him to think about his actions. I think this could be a great arc for his character in the long run. But for now, Harry will probably continue to make bad choices and live in denial until he's ready to look in the mirror and think about why he did what he did. If anyone, especially Tony, was actually supporting him emotionally, he would be better able to face the truth and start to accept and forgive himself. But he's totally alone and doesn't have the tools to find the right path to redemption. Poor boy. Maybe the truth that he didn't really kill her will finally give him the strength to face and atone for the horrible mistakes he made. Thanks Hollyoaks for giving Harry a deep, important personal conflict.

Yeonhee Ahn You overlook the legal aspect of it all. Now that Harry is facing, it seems (because of the possible 20 year sentence) full murder charges, this is not the time to face up to what he has done wrong, or to consider how his own actions has effected other people. Any admission of guilt or that he was sorry could be misread to mean he was guilty of more than he actually is guilty of, and could receive a stricter and longer sentence - murder with intent or even premeditated murder - instead of manslaughter, or just having left the scene of an accident. Since at the moment police seem incapable of separating the injuries Amy sustained when she fell to the floor, from the ones Ryan inflicted on her when he held her tight-locked and killed her. Therefore Harry`s current explanation, to the police, appears to be a partial admission - but not the full truth of what happened. In such a situation I find it perfectly understandable and justified Harry is both scared, shocked and feel he is being unjustly treated, since he didn`t actually intend, nor planned to kill Amy that night, she was injured and fell unconscious in the heat of the moment from an unfortunate fall, when she banged her head. That is not murder or intentional killing, but manslaughter. And it is not even that unless the cause of death can be linked directly to the injuries Amy sustained when Harry was there. The fact Amy woke up again after having been unconscious, means time must have lapsed between the first set of injuries (fall and bang to her head) and the injuries and marks inflicted on her when Ryan actually killed her. Something which normally would have been discovered during the post mortem, and as a consequence of that neither Ste nor Harry would have been considered as suspects, because both time of death would have been identified to have been later in the night - and because both Ste and Harry both had alibi after they left Amy. Ste was either (proved by the base station his call to his dealer went through) not in the Hollyoaks village first, and after that was with Tony and Dianne getting cleaned up. And Harry was first seen by James, and afterwards was with his father. Provided there have been done photographs, measurements and taken temperatures as is normal routine, a forensic examiner - simply by looking at the post mortem report and photos - would be able to establish what the original medical examiner failed to do, that Amy had sustained two separate sets of injuries that night, that there had been time apart them, and also that she had woken up after having been unconscious after the first set of injuries had occurred. That means the fact that Harry`s explanation of what happened when Amy fell, would have been a match to the first set of injuries Amy sustained that night. And therefore, since it is highly unlikely Harry would have knocked her unconscious and just waited around, in case she should wake up, so he could finish the job of killing her - much more likely he panicked and ran - the fact Harry`s explanation matched the first set of injuries to a teeth, would have proved he didn`t kill Amy. But that she must have been killed by someone who arrived after he had left, and after Amy had regained consciousness. And since social calls are not habitually made late in the night, the most likely to have killed Amy would have been her husband, Ryan. Thanks to the post mortem photos of the marks on Amy`s body, sustained after she had woken up again, those marks could be measured and compared to all the possible suspects` arm length and muscle sizes, and that way have identified Ryan as Amy`s killer - since he was the one who held Amy in a tight-lock when he killed her, and she died immediately after those injuries had been sustained. With both those injuries and the time of Amy`s death to have occurred at the same time, that is as smoking gun as you can get. Harry would have been free, and Ryan charged. So now is not the time for Harry to blame himself, or do any type of moral examination of his self - for now he needs to focus on one thing, and one thing only: do as his defense attorney tells him. And that includes not talking to ANYONE about ANY aspect of the case, when his lawyer is not present to guide and assist him. If he did, his admission of guilt, or that he was sorry, could be understood to mean that he intentionally killed Amy, but later regretted what he had done. The consequence of that could be he was convicted of murder instead of manslaughter, or of just having left the scene of an accident. This is not about doing what is right, but about avoiding being charged and convicted of something he is not guilty of. Harry didn`t mean to kill Amy, therefore it would be a miscarriage of justice if he should be convicted of murder. Therefore he has every moral right to conduct himself the best way to ensure that will not happen.

I didn't read your whole essay but the only way for me to watch Hollyoaks with any level of sanity is to ignore realism especially with legal matters cos absolutely NONE of it is logical. NONE. So I focus on what the stories mean for the characters and their feelings. From these last Harry scenes, I think the writers tried to achieve 2 things. First, they wanted Harry's friends to abandon him (without making them look too bad) so that Harry thinks the only person he has left is James. According to spoilers, Harry suggests to James that they have a future together. Harry doesn't love James but right now James is the only person who thinks Harry doesn't deserve to be in prison. I'm just speculating, but maybe Harry says this cos he briefly thinks his only chance at freedom or happiness is with James. Second, they want to show that Harry is still struggling to accept his fate and take responsibility for his role in Amy's death. He's on a personal journey.
@Tvjunkieful127 жыл бұрын
Yeonnee Ahn To me it is different. Unless the setting around it is realistic and logical, the so called emotional journey becomes fake and nothing but nonsense as well. Cause unless it connects to the real world and authentic people, it doesn`t feel genuine. For a character to feel true and be believable, he/she has to have some sort of core personality, not go from smart to stupid, brave to coward from story line to story line, as has been the case with Harry. To be convincing as a character, you have to believe in both the character and challenges, struggles or triumphs he or she faces. In my view the scene with Harry and Zack, to take that one as an example, is hanging in thin air, and should have had a previous scene somewhere, where Harry`s lawyer told him the charges against him were serious. But since he was the third suspect to be launched, and since his confession practically was the only evidence against him, the outcome of a trial was far from certain - not even if the CPS would decide to prosecute should be taken for granted. Therefore it was very important Harry didn`t talk about anything in regard to the case with anyone, not his family, not his friends and not the police or CPS - unless he had his lawyer present. Not a word about the case, or anything connected to it, should he say to anyone, cause if he did, and what he said was interpreted the wrong way, that could seriously undermine his chances in court. If a scene like that had been shown prior to Holly and Zack`s visit, we, the viewers, would have understood why Harry behaved as he did, and felt sympathy towards him. It would also have added some suspense into the scene, since Harry could be tempted to say something, and we viewers knew that was something he absolutely shouldn`t do. In addition such a lawyer to client talk also would have educated the viewers about what the pre possible trial process involves, and why people act as they do in those situations. But the scene as it is, is just pointless and without anchor in reality, since it doesn`t make sense compared to what we have heard Harry say in conversations with both James and Ste in previous scenes and episodes, and since viewers without a minimum understanding of British law and level of sentences, will not realize Harry isn`t just facing charges for what he actually did - left Amy when she was unconscious - but is believed by the police to intentionally have killed her - maybe even have planned to do so. He wouldn`t risk 20 years, had he been charged with manslaughter. Therefore, to me, that scene and development between Harry, Holly and Zack feels like it has been taken from a completely different story, with other characters. It somehow doesn`t belong in her. I think the idea was that we should be reminded of the fact Holly had lost her grandparents because of the accident Milo caused, so when that is revealed we should better understand why she come to feel so much anger towards him. And also so Holly and Zack will feel the need to apologize after Ryan finally is revealed as Amy`s killer, and the would have emerged. But as you said, in Hollyoaks very little make sense - especially from a logic and realism point of view. And I for one think that seriously undermines the quality of the show. Whodunits without logic is like ice cream without creme - just cold and hard. And characters that changes personality quicker and more often than they change costume, becomes confusing and disengaging. Not the way forward, should Hollyoaks have ambitions to win awards, in my opinion.

Harry, you have a lot of room to talk. To Zack you ask "who treats their best mate like this?" Considering the way you treated Ste letting him rot in prison while you ran free, I'm surprised you had the gall to criticize Zack.

I can see where Harry is coming from being scared and all but if he truly thinks that he killed Amy and put her friends and family through just part of what he was feeling for himself the compassion he'd have shown and he'd would have more backers on his side. The months of pain and grief he put Ste through, the so called love of his life. Once this is cleared up I hope that Ste has enough sense not to take him back by the way he treated everyone instead of coming forward and having someone try to prove his innocence just like Ste. Ste was beaten up in prison, shot and had his kids thinking their Daddy killed their Mum. Come on Harry you're a kid but get a clue about other people in this world. And yes I know it's a soap opera lol.

Nancy Cottone Harry is in jail charged with murder. That means the police believe he not only intended to kill Amy, but planned it in advance. When risking a twenty year sentence for something he didn`t do, I think it is perfectly understandable and justified he doesn`t have time or concern for others than himself. Also not admitting guilt or regret is just what he should and must do, the situation being as it is. Otherwise, if he told either Holly or Zack - or both - he felt sorry or had regrets; and they either told this in court, or told journalists, in a misconception they were helping Harry by showing he cared. Such an admission could have been perceived as an admission of guilt, not only of having left Amy unconscious - but could be red by jurors to mean Harry had intended to kill Amy - maybe even had planned to - but now was sorry and regretted what he had done. As a consequence Harry could have received both a longer and more severe sentence. In fact be wrongly convicted of something he hadn`t done. Therefore Harry does the smart thing when he ignores them when they want to talk about anything to do with the case. The rule is simple, but very important to obey: When you are accused of something, never discuss what you have been accused of with ANYONE - unless in presence of your lawyer. And if the lawyer shakes his/her head and wants you to stop - obey that too. Harry left the scene of an accident, he didn`t murder Amy. But should he admit to feeling guilty or having regrets, he could be thought to have those feelings because he murdered her. Therefore it is wise of him not to discuss ANY aspects of the case with Holly and Zack. And it is also unfair to judge him based on what - in a situation and case like this - would have been any decent lawyer`s advice: Don`t talk to anyone about the case, if I`m not there!

It annoys the heck of me, and has for months. All the time Ste was prosecuted for having killed Amy, but had alibi for her actual time of death when Ryan supposedly killed her. And on top of that Amy is supposed to have been knocked unconscious and waken up again, before after that again being killed. But neither the fact she had been unconscious, the fact there were two sets of injuries to her body, sustained apart from each other in time - not even the time of death - was discovered during the autopsies, despite she even was exhumed, makes this so called whodunit pure nonsense. And now Harry is jailed suspected of murder, despite pure logic dictates that since he could describe the scenario that caused Amy`s first set of injuries - and his account match with the marks on, and injuries to, her body - he must have been the one to have inflicted her first set of injuries - which did not kill her. Therefore in real life Harry would have been set free, and the police would have stepped up the hunt for Amy`s actual killer. And since social calls are not exactly routine late at night, they would have started with Amy`s husband who also lived in the house. He being the most likely to have arrived that late at night - and therefore the most likely to have killed her, her death being caused by the person who inflicted the last sets of injuries. Because Ryan is both bigger and more muscular than Harry, the marks on Amy`s body when he held Amy tight-locked, could be matched directly to Ryan and served as smoking gun evidence he killed her. The marks from him holding her being inflicted at the same time as she was killed.

De-Vona Miner This!!!!!! 👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽 I swear this whole storyline is annoying me none of it makes sense. It just feels like the writers are just trying to put Harry through unnecessary bull crap for the sake of it. Give my baby a storyline that actually makes sense and creates a stable amount of development for his character. A guy that acted noble in turning himself in would not be acting this self centered after being imprisoned it’s like they took his characters growth from these past couple of weeks and shitted all over it.
