Steve is actually dead wrong at 7:20 - people are STILL listening to the XFM radio shows some 20+ years later.

This is great - larky, spontaneous, sharp, no undercurrent of ego. Harry Shearer really has the Voice Of God, doesn't he?

It's spelled 'lanky'. Usually followed by 'goggle-eyed freak'

This was such a great series. I don't think I've heard a bad episode.

These two have a great rapport. Steve interviewed Harry on his radio show & it's brilliant.

5:1- 'Some Mothers Do Ave Em, with Frank Spencer' - Frank was very good in that show, playing Frank Spencer. And only Frank Spencer could pull off The Phantom of the Opera. Ooh Betty.

Actually there were a lot of non-visual gags in Some Mother's do 'Ave 'em. And a lot of reaction comedy.

Stephen keeps up the old English cultural references, regardless of audience. I love that - he broke out of the West County, and that's plenty.

Well it's was a BBC show recorded in the UK (hence Shearer making reference to Carphone Warehouse, which is a British shop).
