the saddest thing about his death wasn’t just the fact that he had died. its their bond. and the fact that he and harry could’ve had a wonderful life together. and that they had always risked everything to help each other. harry was so depressed over sirius’ death that when he was being possessed he was in so much agony and pain that he wanted dumbledore to kill him so the pain could stop and he could see sirius again. and sirius felt horrible that he couldn’t be their for harry while in azkaban and escaped to protect him. and they both saw each other as a substitute for james. the fact that harry didn’t get to spend his childhood with him or have a long happy relationship with him kills me, and its the saddest death for me in the series.

Sirius was more than just a godfather in a way I think he was a mirror of Harry. They were both abused, they both made their greatest friends on the hogwarts express, they both found their true homes in their best friends families, they where both constantly judged by their family name, they where both maligned and blamed for things they didn't do. If Sirius could go through that and come out a good man so could Harry. I truly believe Sirius had a greater impact on Harry and who he became than any other person in the series.

i think the thing that really broke me was that in half blood prince you find out that sirius left harry EVERYTHING. he could have left it to lupin or the weasleys or dumbledore, but he didn’t. he left it to harry.

Oh my.. I can't. Being an emotional wreck right now. This is perfect. I'm going to repeat this for unknown amount of times now. Snape and his deaths are the worst deaths for me too. Casting someone as wonderful as Gary Oldman to play him doesn't help to control my sorrow either. I am thankful that Rowling has apologized for killing Dobby and Snape, but imo it's Sirius' death that she is supposed to be sorry the most for. I would be so excited to see your Snape&Draco-video! :)

Fun fact, the star Sirius (also known as the Dog Star) after which Sirius was named after, i’s a part I’d the constellation Canis Major, the Latin for “the greater dog”. And Sirius is an animagus (sorry if I misspelled) that can turn in to a dog.
