This movie broke my heart. I have three sons 11, 18 and 24. I am grateful everyday for their health. The bathroom scene where he is laying on the floor overdosing crushed me. I saw my son laying there in his place when watching the movie. I'm so grateful my sons have not suffered from an addiction. My heart goes out to families struggling.

I watched this movie in 2018 when my son was in college and It broke my heart. We watched it together in a movie theater when he was home for spring or Christmas break. He didn’t have a drug problem but he had a couple of problems with alcohol at school. I was so uncontrollably worried about his future with drugs and alcohol. This movie broke me into a million pieces. This video was actually better than the movie. I just love love love Timothee Chalamet in this movie! It changed me completely. It moved me beyond comprehension.

I’m only in 9th grade now but this movie will always have a special place in my heart. Edit: I’m in 10th grade now, still love this movie. I love how it captures the two different versions of Nick, it really goes to show how drugs can make a person completely unrecognizable.

This movie hit me because you begin to realize the pain and struggle of relapse. I thought sure maybe he would relapse twice but it kept going. And that's what was so realistic. Life is a battle of choosing to go back to that addiction or fight against it. Such a beautifully portrayed movie.

@@abhishekchauhan9339 Admitting to yourself that alcohol is a problem is the first step. You admitted it here. That means you want to change. If you have someone you trust (at home, school or a friend) tell them and ask for help or go to or call a support group like AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) if you have one where you live. You are not alone. It is not impossible. There are people who can help you. - When I was about your age, I used to drink; but, I had 3 incidents where I drank so much I got sick and I did not remember how I had even gotten home. It really scared me. I stopped drinking and stopped hanging around with the people I was hanging around with. I was lucky that I had a "wake-up call" that I needed to change what I was doing. You can do it too. Have faith. I wish you good luck. Please reach out to someone. ❤️
@CinqueTerre5587 ай бұрын
I pray that there’s someone there who can “support” you to stay away from that addicting vice. Step 1, you’ve done, admitting you have an alcohol problem. My father, after being an alcoholic for decades, got himself out of it when his doc told him to do so or he’ll not be able to see his fav child, me, graduate in high school. That “woke” him up. But he died of heart complications (he was asthmatic coupled with being alcoholic). I was a year shy of graduating in college then. Still miss him so much, recall the things I’d do for him before he goes to work & I to school. Sometimes I get a glimpse of him in faces of men with same built as him. But my consolation, sad as it is, he’s happy up there with mom & my 2 brothers. They’re all there looking down on us - my youngest brother & I.
@Oddbisket7 ай бұрын
@@abhishekchauhan9339me too. I go to AA. The first 50ish times I went I really struggled back and forth because it seemed culty and some people seem nuts. But I hit my rock bottom and I was sooo broken. Those people loved me back to life. Listening to them has given me a life of less pain that I have ever felt and I know the more I do the better my soul is. Set free and no longer like tearing flesh deep down. Google AA meetings and walk into as many as you can until you find some people you can let in

O início em doses de paranoias. Você me olhou a noite toda de longe, me observou e eu fingi não perceber.
