When he first played this song at the Fine Line release album show in LA it was so powerful. By the time that last line of horns came in I just burst into tears like a baby 😂 Also highly recommend while driving!

All the harmonies of this song were done by Harry himself. LEGEND. And that we can hear Harry's voice in every second of the song.

Fine Line is beautiful and the more you listen to it, the more you like it. And when he sang it live on the Love on tour, an incredible experience. You really should watch the live performance. People love FL. 💕

Fine Line is a masterpiece, the crescendo at the end always makes me feel like I'm floating... What a catharsis! Also, I'd request you to give Watermelon Sugar another careful listen paying attention to the bassline, the horns and the vocal harmonies in the background. When was the last time a song that reached #1 had these intricacies in instrumentation and production?

This is a song that is not a song. It is MUSIC. what I love about Harry is that he is special and makes special musics and is not just like everyone else. Harry is what I call an artist. He doesn't just make radio and cool songs, he makes unique songs, he makes MUSIC with different and special instruments that other artists don't usually use, for example horn. Harry loves wind instruments and using them in his songs (especially adding them to his concerts) is wonderful. I actually love that Harry is not afraid of anything and does what he likes and makes different genres and things. And it is always successful. He is just so special and I'm glad we have someone like him in the music industry :)!

This is easily my favourite song of Harry's! It is not only the perfect closer for the emotional journey/story of his second album but it is astonishingly well named for its ability to walk the fine line between utter despair and euphoric ecstasy. It builds and grows over 6 mins with new sounds coming in every second. And for the last line to be We'll be alright feels like an embrace of assurance. I noticed Harry for the first time in 2020 from his live Grammy performance of Watermelon Sugar but Fine line album made me sit up and realise I had missed the journey of a legend in the making. I've been on the Harry train since then and so happy I found his music. For perspective, I'm 40 years old, I've been to alot of gigs and I listened to almost 3000 different artist last year on my Spotify wrapped but Harry was my number 1 artist and fine line my most played song. I cannot overstate how talented I think he is and a genuinely kind soul. Thanks for coming to my TED talk 😄

Fun fact: Harry used to hate WS but it kept coming back, so he decided to get it done. Surprisingly, it became a hit.

This song is both sad and hopeful, and it’s MASTERPIECE !! actually it’s a sad song and has a sad story, and Harry sings it with sadness, but from the moment it is build up, it enters the hopeful phase, like the song tells a sad story, Harry is sad. but in the end, with those instruments and building up, he says ok it’s ok, no matter what , we will be fine, we’ll be alright… It is as if those instruments enter to give hope. and its just AMAZING! And apart from all this, it is a wonderful choice to close the album. harry is sooo genius and unique musician!! So proud of him!!!!

This song was the biggest surprise at his love on tour concert last October, well before his third album came out. I liked it but wasn’t in love with it. I have to disagree about the studio version being better than the live. It was an emotional and cathartic experience and totally unexpected. All the lights were out when the song began and Harry’s voice was haunting and sad but beautiful and hopeful. I’ve never experienced such a buildup of instrumentation to a huge crescendo. And then these white dot lights came on over the entire arena and began spinning in slow circles while the instrumentation built they spun faster and faster and somehow I found myself sobbing at the pure beauty of this music and lyrics. It was truly a fantastic experience I will never forget. Now I can listen to it and it takes me to that place every time. Miss it in concert now. Thought you guys would enjoy the artistry of this song. And as a closing it really summed up all the different feelings of the album and the songs leading up to it like saying although all these things are happening and I’m pulled in all these directions, in the end will be all right.❤

Harry and James could come along together for the interview, or better still do another carpool karaoke with you two in the back seats, it would be hilarious.

There might be some songs that you might not like. 🤷♀ We just like watching you enjoy them. You frequently react to live performances and the studio version is usually different as he likes to shake it up/modify it live. As long as ppl keep requesting/paying for it we all benefit. ☺
