They say his fans only care about him and are only watching it to scream everytime we see him on the screen. while in reality, we are not only just there for Harry. many of us care about the movie, history as well as, Christopher Nolan. HELL WE EVEN GET MAD WHEN THEY PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO HARRY IN FIONN AND HARRY'S INTERVIEWS. We have stood up for Fionn in so many occasions because we recognize him as the star of the movie Deep down inside, yes, we are seeing it because of Harry but that is not an invalid reason for seeing it and that doesn't mean we disrespect all of the other aspects of the film. People go to movies to see specific actors all the time. so please stop saying "harry styles fans don't care about important history, only their favourite singer." it doesnt add up. To all those people, giving Harry's fan shit for going to see Dunkirk only because he's in it: Harry being in Dunkirk is actually getting younger fans to participate and watch the movie for him. Along the way, they will really be educated on the disaster of Dunkirk. If anything, Harry being in this movie is encouraging the education of youths everywhere about Dunkirk, of those who follow him. By going to this movie just to see him, you are not "disrespecting" the other actors in the film. Plus, we know damn well that majority of the people complaining have gone to see a film before for a specific actor. We're here to support someone we love for his acting career, and frankly, I'm very excited to be educated about Dunkirk and get to see one of my favourite people portraying it to me, as most of his fans are.

I had been really excited about this movie until I heard it has Harry Styles in it (childish I know). I guess after watching the movie my opinion of him changed, not because he was good at acting (which I suppose he was), but because it made me realise he isn't just a cringy fucboy who preteen girls go crazy over - there's more depth to his character. He even writes meaningful songs as I just came to find out. Sometimes you think you know someone's character, but you really don't.
