I just recently discovered this song (uh, ehem, I know. How pathetic of a fan am I in just NOW discovering this song, right?!! Thank you TikTok, lol) Anyway, I can't believe how underrated and powerful his vocals are in this, but what moves me the most is the haunting bangs during the song's bridge at minute mark 2:18 and that follows. Those haunting bangs remind me of someone banging on a door trapped under water; almost as if Harry's trying desperately to get out from further sinking down. Wildest dreams did. These two have been talking to eachother in songs, using references of other songs long past the 1989 album. I highly dought they were only together for a few months.
