Harry Styles is not just talented but a real entertainer. From all appearances a decent person as well and he handled himself very professionally with Howie Squirm. Enjoying your channel.

This is the first time I have watched the whole interview, in the past I have seen many comments saying how bad it is, I didn't find it bad at all, Howard tries to put too many words in Harry's mouth, but Harry deals with it, after watching many interviews my conclusion is Harry will only ever tell you what he wants too, he is very clever at avoiding giving answers( which he has every right to do) You will never get Harry dishing the dirt on anyone, I think Harry keeps every ones privacy and expects the same back, I have never seen Adam or the keyboard player say anything disparaging about him after they left. I could never have afforded to go and see Harry live but fate has changed my circumstances and I am seeing him next year 🙏🙏 at the age of 66 I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, must remember the earplugs 🤣

I really liked the point about the reach of Stern’s audience and the wise choice of selecting Sledgehammer at the first song. I wouldn’t have thought of that. It’s always good to expand one’s perspective and obviously Harry saw the opportunity. I’ve also seen clips of this interview and thought I’d hate the whole interview, but I enjoyed it for the most part (only watched it because the two of you were watching along). And while I too don’t like seeing people feel uncomfortable, and I thought Stern harkened back to his grosser former self (I couldn’t listen to him in the past), I thought Harry handled him really well. I think you can see how his years of doing interviews helped him manage questions he thought inappropriate, including one’s designed to get him to spill the tea.

I finally subscribed and it was because of this interview and your willingness to get to the nuance of both Stern and your reaction to him. (I’m not a fan of his, but I thought you did a thoughtful critique.)

Hi guys, again I enjoyed your reaction very much, you are really cool and I always look forward to more and more episodes. Harry is a master at answering questions. He always says only what he wants, answers judiciously and diplomatically. He is very intelligent! It's just a shame that he didn't graduate from one of his dream schools. As for Howard, I don't like his constant jumping into speech, he doesn't let Harry finish speaking, and that slightly devalues the conversation. A small note: Linda was Paul McCartney's first wife and died relatively very young . Heather was his second wife (hyena). Otherwise a lovely interview. Thank you both for what you do for us HS and lD fans and you can see that you enjoy it too.🎧🎶🍷🍀❤

Just a quick correction on the Paul McCartney part. It was Heather, Paul's 2nd wife who divorced him and got a large settlement. Linda was the love of his life, mother of his children, a photographer in her own right and a part of Wings. She died far too young at 56 of breast cancer. They were married 29 years. Not expecting you to know that as I'm a bit older than you both.

Was just looking to see if anyone had corrected Ryan, Heather was totally the opposite to Linda, she was Toxic from the beginning, Linda was a brilliant business woman, good photographer and her own Brand of Vegan food must still be making a fortune, like you say they were devoted to each other, such a shame she died so young

Overall, I think it's a pretty good interview and I agree that Harry is aware of what Howard is going to be like in his questions. The only part where it felt like Howard was a bit insensitive was after Harry had already stated he had a good and healthy relationships with his Dad and Stepdad to push the idea that he needed a strong "father figure" for his therapist. A bit silly. But that's kind of what you expect from Howard Stern.

Actually Linda was his first wife that he was married to for a long time and was in his band Wings with him. She died of breast cancer. The amputee that took him for all that was who he married after Linda died

Thank you for correcting that, When Linda died even Howard basically said he would not say anything negative about her because he knew paul really lived her. Ryan has mistaken Linda with Heather which was paul mistake after losing his true love.

Shnorkedorkies!! 🤣😭 How do you spell that lol?! PS: Thanks for giving me a different perspective on Howard’s interviews. I actually admire when people are straight forward and dark humor has always been funny to me. I do agree that certain ways Howard put things in this interview regarding Harry’s family were insensitive though, but Harry took it like a champ! I think a lot of Harry’s fans are very protective of him and sorta treat him like a child, which is ridiculous I hate that! If he chose to do this interview knowing how Howard is, clearly he wanted to I’m guessing. Idk, it’s complicated lol! Side note: I wonder if it’s awkward to constantly be told how hot you are so openly… or maybe it’s flattering I don’t know! 🤣 What a life! 😆 Thank you guys for this and the Zane Lowe interview reactions, you’re hilarious and so great together! I’m totally joining your Discord! 🤗✌🏾❤️

Complaints - 1) Howard put words into Harry's mouth several times (but Harry handles it) 2) Ryan talked over Howard/Harry too many times and I missed what was being said, Please pause when saying more than a few words. Compliments - 1) It was fun seeing how you both discovered things about Harry that you didn't know before 2)Good insight from Ryan about how Howard was projecting what HE would do onto Harry. It made me more accepting of the things Howard said (and less ticked off at some of his comments).

I don’t like Howard Stern. I didn’t know him before this interview (I’m French) so it was a shock to my system with the way he talks and is blunt and broaches topics isn’t my cup of tea. As you said he’s projecting his own stuff onto Harry and I don’t think that’s very nice. The way he mentioned his step dad’s death and said Harry has father issues and the therapist stuff for example really put me off, he went a bit too far I felt like. Harry is ever the sweetheart and navigated this very well and remained diplomatic, he’s got so much more self control than I would have. Some of the questions were interesting though and I enjoyed seeing the way Harry handled things and answered the different questions. The performances were were awesome as well but I’ve never seen a bad one from him I guess Harry himself wasn’t traumatised since he did another interview with him (all I heard were snippets of that one as I was waiting for a video of it to watch but it never came) and apparently the audio that exists is quite edited compared to what went on live and he was quite inappropriate in that one as well. I couldn’t bring myself to listen after hearing about that.

2:22 i know this is really old but I find it hard to believe that you don't see how calling someone "that guy" instead of their name is disrespectful or dismissive. So the 'issue' is you don't believe you owe basic respect to people who are nothing to you personally. And in the case of zayn someone with different values would respect him for who he is (a human being, harry's old bamdmate...wtv) or what he's done for other people... but you know to each their own

Stern never stops talking. I have always disliked his interview style (I'm significantly older than Harry and my opinion of him or this interview have nothing to do with my opinion of Stern). I'm not sure why he is so often credited as the "best interviewer" - can you even call it interviewing to talk at people (3:35, 12:38, 14:15, 25:46, and on and on), make assumptions and assertions for the guest to correct (1:09:09, 1:37:08, 1:39:39, 1:45:10, and so many more), occasionally ask a question, and then promptly interrupt (23:28, 1:15:10, 1:20:45, 1:28:15, 1:35:48, and so many more)? Even if I enjoyed this "style", I'd call it more of a lopsided conversation than an interview. Sorry for the rant, I don't even mean to disagree with anything said in the video here. It's a very longstanding opinion (and pet peeve) for me: as interviewing goes, he's the most overestimated but not the *best* in my estimation. I typically find his constant interruptions, in particular, to be legitimately unlistenable... If I ever find myself hoping to learn more about what _Howard_ thinks about the personal, professional, and sex life of a particular celebrity, maybe this style will come in handy.

I got kind of annoyed with Howard's interview because he interrupts Harry so much when Harry is responding to a question. I often said out loud "let him answer the question," because I was curious to hear his answers. A good interviewer will listen more than talk and not shoot question after question. Just an observation, love your channel by the way.
