I had a 100-watt stereo system at the time I would blast this like crazy and then I went to Circus Disco. They played this LOUD, and it shook the dance floor and the three ring laser lights were flashing. It was an Ultimate Trip. Everybody would be screaming like they were at a baseball game and filled up the dance floor with close to 2000 people. Great Memories!!

Circus Tavern (Wheatley's), Purfleet, Essex, UK just to the east of London back in the late 80's this one got everyone on the floor. The DJ played it to a large screen video of all of the acts that had appeared at the Tavern. Fantastic memories ... when this track came on that was when the night began ...

I ran the dance floor lights manually to interact with the music. This song was a challenge. Each part of the song had its own lighting effect. I always had more lights going when the music was louder.

Heard this back in the beginning of 1980 on radio Luxembourg 208 disco show hosted by Tony prince as soon as heard it I was obsessed the next week I went to my local record and bought it on 12 inch I got it home and played it all weekend

This was no doubt inspired by the earlier 'Jaws' & 'The Deep' soundtracks, which both had their disco tracks, Lalo Schiffrin & Donna Summer respectively. Both were huge hits in the discos at the time too. Every film of anynote had it's own disco track back then, from 'Superman' to 'Alien' to 'Star Wars' to 'Close Encounters of theThird Kind' to 'Love Story', 'Midnight Express' & countless others. Harry Thuman was very cleverly carrying on the 'under the sea' frenzy trend here when Space Disco was at it's very height. It was a one hit wonder but this was a massive hit in the discos, itself being inspired by Donna's 'I Feel Love' monster synth hit I think. They were good times indeed! 😊

Ultra fab techno disco tune, similar in ways to The Chase by Moroder. Not well known 78-80 in DC & balto market. Maybe a rival to The Break by LePage etc. Lots of tympany & cacophony, but balanced. Maybe danceable, but better for aerobics and acrobatics, imo. Nice buildup sequences. No tuff lyrics. Ochestro tidbits too. Psychedelic riff here & there. Multi-faceted hi-energy composition. I lived the disco years and the acid house years. This was resurrected to play along with the acid house tracks at clubs like Shoom & Spectrum which was great. Seeing people on the dancefloor who'd never heard it before going mental. 'The Chase' by Giorgio Moroder was another one that got a second lease of life too. Happy days!!
