so i did my bachlors in fiance here from Canada, while after 4 years here in Canada I got my work permit last year, but still its really difficult to found a decent job, and moreover, I am not focusing on pr but after coming here in Canada I found that I am good in trading and wanna purse it full time after going back to India, but the main thing is that the saving are not happening as been fired from my last job after 9 months of struggle to found a decent job. Here is something you missed: indians are not on the highest in terms of refugee claimants, they are generally from Latin America. Per statista, Mexico, Haiti, Turkey, and Colombia ranked the highest at 16415, 11430, 9370, and 7900 in 2022. India ranked 6 on that list at 4100. This was really low for us given our population of over 1.4 billion. I am sure that asylum seekers have further increased and there could be a change in share of asylum seekers coming to Canada by country of origin, but it will be rather bizarre for India to go from approx 4000 to let's say 11500. Bottom line, I think the misuse of asylum seekers has been unfairly used against us.
