Agree they generally have bad jeans with an awful cut and a really awful t shirt. I’m not even saying you have to get a boncoura pocket t or some iron hearts or samurai denim. But getting say circle denim from Japan blue and the cheapest loopwheeled tshirt from say SDA or strike gold and you’re gonna look good if you get the fit right

The most inspiring thing about Jeremy is outfit repeating/rewearing. Clothes are made to be reworn, not worn once or twice and thrown away. I would say that the average Joe does this but I see so many people in the fashion community being allergic to this concept.

all ik is there's just something about Jeremy that makes him this cool maybe it's his aura and how he carries himself or the character he plays in Bear. Most of his fashion choices are what he genuinely likes and not caring about the hype like for example his love white Nike Cortez or his clothes in Bear. Loved the video Harry, you never disappoint.

Great vid. I love the wear on his stuff, it adds nice asymmetry and uniqueness without being loud and garish. Super inspiring for my own tastes, I do like wearing minimalist in general but having a piece with subtle variations in tone like lived in jeans or the NN07 gael jacket he wears in The Bear goes hard.

It's often overlooked by a lot of men/blokes etc and you can find really good stuff in them. 2nd hand or vintage clothing is a great shout when trying to add a little bit of simple style to your wardrobe imo.

I think what’s cool is that the style leaves room for added touches that won’t get lost in the total fit. A cool hat, shoes , jacket , sunglasses, watch. These are items that allow expression and set you apart.

I honestly think a lot of it is, they want to be like him because of the aura of him that he portrayed in The Bear. And because he's attractive in it, other guys want to be like that. Portray it. Because honestly the style is very simple and abundantly done, yet people look to him specifically. It's like people who bought aviator glasses because Tom Crews wore them in Top Gun. Aviator glasses are everywhere but those guys wanted to buy Tom's aura, and u can't. Or people wanted to dress like Ryan Gosling from Drive because they wanted his aura, but they'll never really be that. You'd kind of also have to have lots of muscle too to copy Jeremy's exact look and that'll just not be possible unless you actually like exercise. Otherwise youd just look like some dude with basic pieces put on and not be thought of in the same view as Jeremy, which is their aim. Also the infamous shirt, can't be done unless it's also tailored. However your proportions and muscularity aren't the same, so it won't have the look

I think it's because of celebrity. His fits are fine but when you add context(Low frills talented actor) the look takes on a life of its own. He's definitely not just dressing himself any old way either, it's a deliberate simplicity which I think also adds to it but again without being a relevant acclaimed actor it wouldn't matter

The point people are missing about “a white t-shirt and jeans, groundbreaking” is that it’s the simple outfit done WELL. The fabric and fit of the t-shirt and jeans, the styling. Simple done right is harder to achieve than people think. It’s the PERFECT t-shirt, which is customized and tailored. GQ magazine should be showing how it’s done well 🤔

That’s definitely the thing. When you’re keeping things simple, the fit and the details matter a lot. The same thing happens in food. Getting the bare basics right is the hardest part because there isn’t anything hiding potential mistakes.
