Color, silent home movie of President Harry S. Truman and Venezuelan President Romulo Gallegos in Bolivar, MO, dedicating a statue of Simon Bolivar, July 5, 1948. Film shows the crowds gathered, planes flying overhead in salute, the presidential motorcade, and the VIP stand. Much of the film is devoted to the Fourth of July parade. Then the dignitaries speak from the podium. Finally, the statue of Simon Bolivar is revealed.
