first of all THESE PLANES ARE NOT NEW THEY ARE NEARLY 16 YEARS OLD EX-DELTA AIRLIENS PLANES . Air India is having 4 of the in their fleet which were brought from delta to increase its capacity fast. These planes ARE FITTED WITH DELTA AIRLIENS CABIN AND NOT AIR INDIA'S CABIN. PSS Air India will be having premium economy in its future plane (deliveries should start from early 2024). So don't expect a world class premium economy from this cabin(as delta has one of the worst premium economy cabin in the industry) . It can be expected from future air India cabin. This was only for your information and not to criticize you as i love aviation.

Nothing great except for little more leg room. The pouch with eye mask, socks, etc., steel cutlery, and hot towels are given on Emirates economy class too on international flights. Emirates also has good selection of Indian movies in Economy. Premium Economy is expensive for the little extra perks you get.

use of Premium economy depend on aircraft and service provider , well you will have by default have wider seats ,more leg space and less people around, very useful when you travel over 12 hrs non stop , you should try vistara from Singapore to Delhi A 320 , in same BUSINESS class once and comment , before that do some home work

Flight prices to and fro from Ahmedabad have increased coz of World Cup... Also ur traveling after Diwali and post Diwali it's a week complete holiday in whole of Gujarat and Gujaratis travel a lot during that period. So ultimately impacts flight prices
