I remember the food served in Gujarat weddings especially in villages. It is sitting on the matt on the floor. Dish, katori made of leaves. So many variety of eatables, served in little quantities and refilled as required to avoid reduce food wastage. Very nice tradition.

Veg food ki jitni variety Gujarat me hai utni kahin nahi milegi. Waise use Undhiyu kahete hai jo winter me hi milta hai kyun ki usme jo sabjiyan use hoti hai jaise surti papdi, ratalu adi wo winter me hi milti hai. 14th January yani utrayan ke din Undhiyu, Jalebi, til ki chiki jise tal sankli lahete hai wo har ghar me khaya jayega. Dashera pe fadda, Jalebi. Holi pe Mamra ki chiki aur popcorn. Shivratri pe Sweet potato aur uska shira Navratri me to 9 din navratri breaks me alag alag masta. Sharad Purnima ki rat dudh - poha. Diwali pe Magas, Mohanthal, Topra pak, Ghughra jise UP Bihar me Gujiya kahete hai shayad, puriyan aur sev ghar pe banega baki sweets bahar se.

Famous eatables in Gujarat is Undhiyu, Fafda with Sambharo, Jalebi, Sev Khamani, locha Khaman), Dhokla, Paatraa, and Mix farsaan called Chavanoo. Many more dishes. One will not find the same taste anywhere else apart from Guj.
