As a part of parallel processing, with spin off - parent flow and sub flow first assignments were routed to two different users, if two users are start work on those two assignments at same time, what will happens a case with default locking vs optimistic locking ? Now the question is, both users need to work on same time without any locking or data lose issue, means they should be able to submit the assignment without locking issues. Can we able to do this in pega ? Even though those two are two different flows and two different assignments, but those are on the same case only right.

Hi chiru, spin off with default or optimistic lock is 'Asymchrous processing ' but not parallel processing... To achieve parallel processing as per your query above, we need to implement covers...

Hi Harsha, 1) What will happen when multiple users Submit case at Same time in optimistic Locking. 2) In Optimistic Locking, suppose 2Users access the cases, User1: Modified the case asper requirement and Submitted. User2 : Also modified case but not exactly asper requirement. In this case latest modified updated in PRPC.Then how can the System recognise which one is best.

Hi Rayudu, If user two submits after user1 , then user1 changes will be there. User2 changes will not be there because user 2 submit actions will not be taken by PRPC.
