BTS hasnt been exempted. Matter of fact I don’t know if there’s ever been any kpop stars thats been exempted. The Korean government will reward a military exemption if the individual is deemed as having global impact in spreading the Korean culture/representing Korea in a significant matter. Son Heung-Min of the Tottenham Hotspurs have had an exemption for a while now. Recently through Asian Games (similar to olympics for Asia), League of Legends player Faker and other representatives gained exemption through winning gold. (First time an esports player has gained an exemption) While you are in the military you get minimum pay, but in Korea going to the military is seen as the rite of passage to manhood and though boys talk about how they hate pausing life for a year and eight months (used to be 2 years) to do the military service, it is something most males in Korea feel is something that should be done. Most guys will perform the military service right out of high school, once they have been accepted into a university, and the university will hold your place while you finish your mandatory service. No they don’t offer scholarships for joining the military as it is mandatory. The other route that people take is if they wish to become doctors, the individual will finish medical school/university first then join the military during the last years of eligibility (post age 28). This is so that the education and momentum isnt paused as its difficult to return to learning such material after taking a break for two years. In those cases, the military will allow you to leave the barracks to go home after your 8 hour work day, but the pay is still minimal compared to actually working at a hospital. If you own a business, that anatomy will still continue but itd be difficult for the individual to be involved in company matters, so its usually handed off briefly during service…though because most people do their service early, its often too early for them to own such businesses.

I’m confused why Clem didn’t build a raven in the first game after he lost his orbitals. His opponent was taking advantage of lack of vision hugely, first with the banes and then with the lurkers. Even if a raven would be expensive and not very strong otherwise, wouldn’t it still be better to have vision, considering he basically lost the game because of his lack of vision?

@@Lost7oneIt is crazy tho, how many games Terrans could potentially win if they just built a single unit. We have the clarity and advantage of seeing everything as spectators and not being in a high-paced stressful game as the players, but you can't convince me a Raven was not the obvious choice there.

If you have to build one from nothing, A raven costs 300 min 275 gas, and what, 90 seconds? If Clem had full vision like us for a moment, no doubt he would have built one. However, in the heat of battle with limited information it is really, really difficult to justify such an investment. It´s just not "part of the plan" like ever. It´s similar to repairing mech units and medivacs between fights; everyone knows it´s a good idea but no one except the super ai has the capacity to do it on a regular basis.

clem with some of the most cost effective units and dark the fuckn zerg has to be cost effective to compete with clem basically just a moving clumps of marines. Zergs have to play so much better at the pro level. Serral just really is tha good

sc2 is very snowbally. if u r ahead in the early game, then u win 9 out of 10 times. dark was playing absolutely crazy in the last match but clem already won by that point.

That happened after Dark let eight hellions into his main and lost 8 out of 54 drones, resulting in him behind behind in tech and upgrades. This comment is like you're submitting an IODIS complaint where you got defeat-induced brain damage and forgot all context to that one single balance issue that you perceive made you lose.
