This is an interesting brand to review, I never quite know what to expect from them- some products are really wonderful and some are just over the top with fragrance so it always feels like a bit of a gamble.

Please yes!! This is my main concern and I was using Agency products for a year and did see results, but it got to be too expensive as a subscription and I wasn’t seeing the results anymore I would have liked for what I was paying.

Hi Sara! Like you I love brightening products…I just wonder if I can use more than one product per day? I already use a vitamin c in the AM routine and tretinoin as well as an alpha arbutin gel in the PM routine- should/can I add another product? Thanks and love your videos!!

I’m very interested in trying a transexamic acid but since it’s not the most popular ingredient yet I’m having a hard time finding a good formula for me (my skin doesn’t like any form of vitamin c and niacinamide…heck this makes finding any types of active skincare and lot of work)

I really want to try this! But my skin does not absorb well at all. And the second ingredient is propanediol. Ugh propanediol. Did you know it's made from corn? And it seems to be a common denominator in products that lay on top of my skin. Might try it anyway. Thank you beautiful Sarah!

They both share some of the same brightening ingredients: tranexamic acid, niacinamide, and ascorbic acid. I give the winning edge to Numbuzin because it also contains brightening ingredients such as glutathione, blueberry, and alpha arbutin. If I were in your situation I would probably wait until after pregnancy to use tranexamic acid- some sources say it is okay and some say to wait. I'd rather venture on the safe side.

Have you tried the Rovectin Vita Dark Spot Serum? It has a similar gel-serum texture, featuring seabuckthorn, arbutin, ferulic acid, the active compound in licorice root (dipotassium glycyrrhizate), green tea, 3-O-ethyl-ascorbic acid as well as a bit of ascorbic acid. My skin really likes seabuckthorn so I’ve been wanting to give it a try! Also, can you do a video on kojic acid + products that contain it? It’s been getting a lot of love from dermatologists lately, but it’s kinda hard to find it k-beauty 😅 I know the fungus aspergellus produces it naturally, so I’ve been looking for that ingredient as well. I would love to see a video about this as well!! I am 42, about to be 43, and I have some hyperpigmentation on my face and it’s my main concern! I live in FL and I’m trying to find the easiest, best routine of skincare products to use that will give me great results. I was subscribed to Agency and used their products for a year…I loved them honestly and did see great results. It became quite expensive though, so I’m trying to find I hope products that will work as good as they did for less. What I loved was that it was a simple routine of 2 products and I incorporated a few other products I liked for my dry to normal skin. What have you used and found great results for dark spots?

@@NOBSBeautyI might have to give this one a try! My skin doesn’t play well with ascorbic acid, but it seems the percentage may be low enough to not cause a reaction. Also so interesting to hear about the benefits of pear! Arbutin but also… COVID? 🧐😂
