Is there a breakdown of how much these drugs really cost to produce from start to finish? Maybe we can set AI to do all the R&D - bet we can cut that time down to a third and still manage to charge double more.

Glucocorticosteroids indeed. My twenty-something daughter has been on them for almost ten years for Addison's disease (poly-endocrine type 2). Same exact treatment as the '50s. No money in research for rare diseases. Hardly any videos either. Sadly, more and more autoimmune incidence is a positive for those already suffering with it.

It's almost like the fundamental principles for a lot of drug development and drug trials are no longer to do no harm and to honestly seek to benefit as many patients as possible in a real, meaningful way. Other priorities seem to be more important. And this is an awful thing for the medical professions and for society.

What about the improvement in the PFS though? I know it's a surrogate endpoint and tumor will likely continue to shrink as shown with placebo, but it still improved faster. Can this be considered sort of a desperate case where any possible likelihood improvement is a good thing and worth a try since nothing better?

I wonder if you could use the observational data CERT from the breast cancer studies, reanalyzing them in a way that gets the same result as the randomized controlled trials and then see if that has developed a validated analysis method for observational studies that could be generalizable

Dear Dr. Prasad. For something completely different but very topical, can you review and critique the peer-reviewed literature on effectiveness of armed security guards present in schools, or not, to prevent or reduce casualties of mass shooter events? What I have seen is retrospective study design with many potential confounders (e.g. Peterson et al. JAMA 2021)

Not likely he would, as it is very far from his area.. however, I find it is logical to have armed security to prevent school shootings as well as to prevent loss of life (I support FL decision to allow teachers to carry, under very specific requirements). Banks, Hollywood stars, Govmt leaders, Business execs, etc all have armed security, because the best way to stop a threat- whether a car, knife, gun, axe welding maniac- is with a gun.

MIL recently diagnosed w breast cancer. She refused radiation & might not even get surgery to remove the lump because she's shrinking the tumor at home w RSO. It's gone down .3cm in just 2 weeks. We met her oncologist today, & they were completely dismissive. They insist that the reduction in size is just a nuance of measuring. And that might be true, but they were so rude to such a wonderful woman, it just broke my heart. They told her she would die if she didn't follow their plan: lumpectomy & radiation (& maybe even chemo after all that!) Pharma is the worst.

This is going to sound stupid possibly. But is it ever accounted for the human body will make certain chemicals as we resolve our deepest convictions and you know relationship problems and you know things that really start to come to the surface when you're dying you know people come and reach back out and they make amends sometimes or you have time to think about that stuff because it's possibly looking like it might be over okay and so do they ever considered like to someone that experience has anxiety like bad anxiety like myself I can literally make myself sick what's even stranger is because of my anxiety it has led me to be a very avoidant person bad agoraphobia I also am just giving up on the psych meds I just don't like any of them they make me feel very muted very you know just like it it sends me over to depression too fast and none of the depression stuff works so I'm just no medicines but I also understand a little bit more now how my thoughts are my emotions how they they can rapidly just they can make me or break me and swear to God and in literally to the extent of illness you know that then you start to consider that you know your body is this machine making all of this stuff and generate energy and cortisol and sugar and then all the stuff swirling around if you got too much in there well guess what you're a great host for a parasite. And then I wonder do parasites possibly cause cancer. And then of course my OCD kicked in and I just go on all these little Journeys to all these different places with the parasite and virology and all that other relman I still wish I could go back to school so there you have it absolutely nothing from this.😂 I do enjoy your videos though because something in me that's just really sick and tired of feeling at times I just need to listen to this crap type of attitude Knowing damn well that they don't know what the hell they're talking about at least my it case though I don't have a leg to stand on because I don't have any kind of Education to present but I have some kind of deeply felt belief. I think my biggest mental illness issue is that I don't listen to it. Or that I think that I'd have to argue about how someone else is wrong or I'm right and that's just not I don't like to argue I know I'm born in April but I don't like to argue LOL thanks for the video

I mean would it be unreasonable to want to even suggest because I'm not anything important but it would be unreasonable to suggest EDTA chelation therapy for your grandmother because you know post CT scan and her kidneys and all that good stuff so like there was a significant turn at some point. I don't know if it has something to do with Metals I don't know if it has something to do with age and a valve issue and you know diabetes that didn't suddenly go sky-high and and start getting out of control I mean it's it's always been however her eating has changed somewhat as it did during other stressful times well other stressful times she would have hypos and now she doesn't seem to be doing that which is interesting to me because you would expect the diabeetus would go out of control but now we have afib and I just feel like EDTA chelating.. (no won't dare recommend..but just a repeating thought) because they still want her to do that valve replacement that she has had for a while you know lingering but it just so happens that this year and of course following her sister passing away recently Who is younger than her and I believe correction her half-sister different fathers who had had cancer then therapy the remission and pandemic emergency authorization routine two doses I'm sure at least considered fully recently I believe and develops pneumonia goes to hospital passes away with in probably a couple of hours but has a pacemaker so they don't call time of death I guess cuz she still beating but few Witnesses say she was definitely gone they thought very strange very rapid in my opinion especially since it was like what within 3 months I believe maybe that she's suddenly riddled with cancer again from the remission from the pandemic authorization emergency use and something some other problems in various ways but just definitely not going to speak on it because I don't want to be that way but I'm definitely getting concerned probably just rambling on to say that I'm grateful that it feels as though I can sense there's something more either authentic or more aware or just maybe at the same tired of the playcenter complicit I'm not sure which word that is no treatment in medicine but it's probably because of having xiety white coat syndrome and stuff like that you know syringes although I have a very high pain tolerance I'll take out my own wisdom to thank you and I did just because I'm that way now I'm just so I don't know if it's ridiculous or not but we keep having these situations where something tells me well darn it that was confirmed. And I know you probably don't like the crazies I'm trying not to be that I'm definitely telling you please keep doing this keep the oath like you've been doing and despite what they fucking say about it... 10-4
