Hey, i bought a bike with this device fitted to it... but my gear selector and rev counter don't work and also my fuel light is permanently on. If you have any idea what the issue is then that would be great

Which bike is it on? 1st assumption would be it might not have the plug and play cable adapter. As for the fuel light I had to program the fuel level and ended up buying a syphon and set my fuel light to come on with a gallon of gas in it.

Can you let me know how you do the firmware update. Called the distributor and they have no clue. Even the manufacturer couldn't help much. They're in Italy

My vote is for the AIM. There are a lot of modules you can add to it. Antowan got the AIM for his new bike and we are adding the air/fuel reader for the build series.

Even though I'm super late to the game LOL. Does it actually show how much fuel you have? Have a chance to get one at a really good price and I like the looks and really would love to know if it shows how much fuel actually have

Not 100% sure, but it probably could. You would most likely need some sort of probe for the gas tank though

If the blinker is not showing on it, maybe you need to bleed and refill the blinker fluid line. Man, that thing does so much it might as well just ride the bike for ya. LOL. You young whipper snappers wouldn't know how to ride the bikes without all the modern junk on it, one twist of the wrist and y'all would loop it without all the computer chips in the bikes. Haha. Not anything I would ever need on my bike, but thumbs up and a comment to show support. Good job Antowan.

Channels acquired by DaVinci-II R:  Laptime with intermediates GPS Speed GPS Trajectroies RPM  Engaged Gear  Lean Angle  Lateral and Longitudinal Accelerations 4 Analog channels at 500Hz high frequency (Eg. For TPS, Suspensions, Brake Pressure, etc.) All channels available on connected optional WID modules. All channels managed by the configuration of the specific loom connected to the data line of the ECU or configured on customized CAN BUS line. Another question, can you set any of alarm LEDs to traction control when is hitting during the riding? I mean... when you use an original dash, there is a small bar at the bottom of the dash to tell you how strong push of a traction control is used. So I cant see any substitute for these function. Realistically, how are you even looking at your dash to see traction control indicating it's working while your track riding, your focused on the wrong stuff man.

Thinking of swapping my dash on my 2012 R6 to the DaVinci-II dash since it’s plug and play. But can’t figure out if the gear indicator on the dash will work with the plug and play harness or if I’ll need something else to make work. Any idea? Was install difficult?

Does it have a gear indicator stock? I think he had to modify the bracket a little to get it to fit, but other than that it’s easy

The only issue he had was he couldn’t get the turn signal indicators to work. Everything else is just like the OEM tach

It still goes by whatever your ecu will allow you to show. If yours doesn’t have a gear indicator already, this may not fix that.

Apparently you can’t. There is another tach out there for the ZX-10 that has a black background with green. Looks way better!

@@JD-mo4fv Honestly the Aim was my 1st choice but the sales rep at Superbike unlimited told me that the Aim was not a direct swap amd you would still need the OEM tach in place. They are the ones that suggested the Starlane to me.

I think you’ll come down to a lot of different opinions, but I know when I first saw the mkx10 I liked it more than the davinci. You’d have to look at the specs for each online to really get a good idea

I would go with the MKX 10 Dash it was developed specifically for the zx10R so its a direct plug and play. Alot more customization with the AIM as well. It the AIM would of been available when i was buying i would have gone with it as well. The Starlane still required some configuration. I had to program the gas light and i have actually run out of gas while riding because of it and i still have not gotten the turn signals to indicate on the dash. They still work but dont show on the dash when they are active.

Sorry just now saw this. This is what Antowan said: “The Davinci if new you can set after install. The Aim dash you have to get them to set the mileage when you order from them direct i believe.” I know he put in his own mileage with the Davinci. If you got it used, I’m not sure what you would need to do to reset the mileage again.
