For convenience, why not stand up an empty large rice bag -inside your carry basket - and then place bamboo reeds straight up - instead of curling and bending them and shoving them down into carry basket. Easier to unload also; display yellow reeds on a green piece of cloth or on a large green, round sieve basket, the handmade kind you so aptly weave yourself! Colors that complement each other catch customer’s eye, like red and green together, very eye-appealing. Not that you need any help selling your wares… everyone wants Tammy’s wares: fresh-picked, cooked, pickled, woven, juiced, etc. I bet she has a happy husband ready to eat all her dishes. If he helps her in the garden he won’t get overweight. We want to see him carrying her basket and also a ladder to climb up the forest banana trees, and coconut trees, he could do that also, while you pick the melons and papaya and mangoes. Tie a rope around your waist and other end around branch above you, near the trunk. If you fall while picking, you won’t land on the ground! You need a professional harness, the kind tree cutters use, to climb high without any danger, and pick the best fruits.
