Many attempts he did to smile but he still didn't get it. Malon wants to see him smile so he'll practice to smile even more. Smile lesson is done, as he's sulking again. Someone threw broken tool just like that. If the tool can be fixed, I will fix that tool. Charlie threw the tool due to bent. Woah, Vaughn found Packs in the Forest. Those packs are friendly so don't worry. Let's play with packs. Vaughn has done his job, it's so fun 🐕. Tired of playing with pack, he wants to have relaxing day at Meadow. Vaughn loves the island, as it's nice. Glad that you like this island. Vaughn has problem with carrots. Julia notices he ate everything in the stew but carrots 🥕. Try a fish then you can tell Vaughn to try carrot 🐟. What a relief, thanks a lot Malon. Carrot is done, now he feels that people in this island are like family for him. Vaughn can't stay longer since he's a wanderer. His wander feeling is cured by Vaughn's animal rescuing action. The sheep isn't in good shape, but thanks to him, the sheep is fine 🐑. Vaughn, I chose you to spend all my life with you 💘.

Heyyy I just got the game and want to get Vaughn! How can I start giving him gifts if he’s only there twice a week? Sorry I’m a beginner

You give him gifts on those two days of the week. Luckily, Vaughn doesn't follow the rule where if you don't interact with a character for a few days, they'll refuse your gifts. If you want to bring up his affection efficiently, friendship pendants are great for that. Plus the effects stack if equip multiple of them. You'll need Orichalc out of the mines to craft them. Preparing for the mines can be another ordeal though since you'll need lots of food and ideally, have your Hammer and Hoe equipped with Green Wonderfuls to remove stamina usage and Orange Wonderfuls to increase the amount of materials you get.
