this was my favorite game as a kid. I remember staying up late, making ramen, and playing this for hours. I was always so mad that I never got to where I could have 2 kids, but now I finally got to see the ending for it like 2 decades later!

I played this as a kid. 0:00 looks just like dad was scolding me. When we didn't have internet back then, my younger brother made me believe that the good ending is the father shaking hands at 0:00. I had the happy family one back then. And I did several play throughs just to see my dad shaking the farmers hand, but seems like my brother made that up 😂 Glad to know I had a really good ending all of the time, haha.

Great compilation of all the different endings I didn't even know there were that many! This game definitely brings back memories, it's so nostalgic to me given how it was my first video game :) Still to this day been loving the different Harvest Moon games and while I enjoy other farming games none came ever close ( well...other than maybe My Time at Portia that's a great game :D) I remember crying because one of my chickens died in this game, I mean I was still so young but honestly even today I just get so easily attached to animals in games man!

It can be tedious without a rucksack, but once you get a fully grown horse you'll be able to ride around on it and use it as your shipment box, which will make shipping crops a lot easier. That should happen by your second year.

I have a question, I've been playing the game for a few days to get the text that tells you that you are the best farmer (on the mountain), I got the best ending but when I'm on the mountain it tells me things like "You are close to being the best farmer" and I don't understand What should I do to make him tell me that I am the best farmer, thanks.

These are the things you would need to do if you want a perfect score: - Have 99,840+ G. - Have 12 cows and 12 chickens. - Have 200 stamina (find all 10 power berries). - Ship a certain number of tomatoes, corn, potatoes, and turnips (the rating is a bit weird for this one and most likely bugged. If you can sell 496-511 or 1008-1023 of a crop, you'll get the best ending text. If you sell the 512th crop or 1024th crop, you won't get credit for this one. The game resets your score to zero at every 512 crop interval for this category). - Have 200+ affection for all cows. - Have 496 - 511 affection for all 5 girls (this part is also bugged as you would need to actually lower the affection of your wife). - Have both house upgrades. - Have the clock (get your first house upgrade by the end of the first summer). - Have the turtle shell (one of the prizes you receive from winning the egg hunt at the Egg Festival). - Get married. - Have 2 children (the second child does not have to be born). - Cover the entire ranch with grass, crops, or fence pieces. - Have 900+ Happiness.

@@GamingAdventures_GA Thank you very much, but one last question, since what you say about 512 left me speechless no one would have imagined it, but I wanted to ask you how I can know exactly how much love each girl has since hearts appear in her diary and it is something strange since in the final credits it came out with 996 affection with my wife and in the diary there were 10 hearts and according to what I read on a page for each heart it counts 50 affection. And also how can I know how many crops I have since I play on PC and the bug in the final credits has to do with a joystick or whatever that control is called. Thanks for your help.

@@polloto5417 There is a button combination you can do that'll let you see the ending right away (no matter where you are in the game). Immediately after writing in your diary to go to bed, press and hold L + R + Select. You'll be able to see how many crops you have shipped so far.

@@polloto5417 You should be able to change what the keys are on your emulator. If you're using Snes9x for example, go to the top where it says "input" and then "input configuration" and you can choose what the L, R, and select keys are on your keyboard from there.

The game will end automatically after playing for 2 and a half years (after the 3rd summer). You can also see the ending at any time by pressing and holding L + R + Select after going to sleep.
