This album has long been one of my favorites. The songs are powerfully written and sung, as they are on all your albums. One thing that has always stood out to me when listening to this album has been the bass guitar. I just found out Abe Laboriel and John Patitucci are the bass players, and the band is a bunch of all-stars. Laboriel has long been one of my favorite musicians, so now it all clicks.

An old favorite album (cassette) of mine. I think it was 1986 when I saw them in concert at Casa Adobes Baptist Church in Tucson, Arizona. Still powerful all these years later.

It's hard to find such songs of exhortation nowadays. Whenever I listen to this song, I am reminded to press in to victory. Indeed, victory is assured if only believers in Christ learned to trust in the completed work of Christ and persevere. Does anyone know where/how I can find the accompaniment trax for this song? If I remember right, though, their remastered CD of "Only the Overcomers" does not have the song "Take Me Back" on it - song #7. It only has 9 of the 10 songs on it. I really like the song "Take Me Back", and was disappointed to find it not there. Does your CD have this song? HF77
