This is very relaxing to watch - therapuetic even. Great drone footage and no annoying music over the top of it. The video also serves to highlight just how mundane, tedious and repetitive this kind of work can be sometimes. That said, it was great that there were no breakdowns or anything - just people getting on with their jobs and putting food on our tables. Huge thank you to farmers everywhere.

I just have this playing in the background now!! Love anything to do with combining!!! It was always the time crunch and how fast can we do this that made harvest time the most special. I could always knew it was harvest time when I was little because my dad would usually lose from 10 to 20 pounds, because he would not stop until the moisture would hit. Those were some great times!

A great video. I've watched it several times all the way through. I'm from Marshall County Iowa. My dad farmed two farms in Marshall County from 1945 until 1980 when he passed away. My wife's father farmed in Washington County Iowa in Southeast Iowa. The best corn video I've seen on KZbin. Thanks.

Its just waste for the most part. There isn't much food value in it for feed. Usually it is just re-incorporated into the soil to decompose.

The green strips are made intentionally for erosion control, or if there are obstructions etc.

Most of the corn is used for Animal feed, Ethanol, or High Fructose corn syrup. Some of it is put on barges at Burlington IA for export as well. Thanks for watching!
