I believe her Family were also part of a SHARE Farming Enterprise ( Commune/ Community Farm) where a set group of people share an area, Till the Ground, Plant, Weed, Maintain and Harvest, and they all put in time and labour and share the Harvest. This appears to be a common thing here. They also have their "Own" private Farm area and House, but the Shared Farm is very large, comprising many Crops.
