Your lovely patch of Ireland reminds me of how Dorset was 50 years ago when I would go fishing and see some of the lovely little creatures that have mostly disappeared from our shores I wish I could consider it safe to to eat the seaweed here, but there are now too many oil spewing boats that have economic priority. This really brings home to me how pollution is destroying our world Thank you for sharing the pleasure of seeing little creatures that have as much as right to existence as us

You both are couple whose usually written in a book of tale, rich of knowledge, humble, cheerful, tough, pretty&handsome, never starves, never thirst, your life is magical. Just like in the book of Lord of The Rings, living rich low profile life in Hobbiton, but you both are so much more. You both are very lucky to having each other.

Used a Kelly Kettle over 60 years ago in the Scouts. Our Group Scout Leader was Irish and he had one. I believe the Irish ghillies use(d) them too, to brew tea for clients on the islands in the lakes where they fished for trout. Marvellous invention, and so simple! Les

'....rub two seagulls together or something!' Great vid, short but a decent amount of good info and clear shots making it easy to identify what was foraged while the story and narration really got your warm characters across. the two of you look cute together doing your activities. I remember my childhood vacations in the sea side of my hometown where my little sister, friends, dogs and I used to walk on the sea side coral reefs when its low tide to gather some sea shells and discover a lot of interesting things in the sea. sure brings back great memories. thanks for this video. I also got an idea of making and sipping some tea while on the beach. I must try that when I get the chance to visit my hometown.

That was fascinating. So many varieties of seaweed in that one area! And that single boulder was like its own little planet teeming with different creatures. I love the Kelly Kettle. It is really a kind of rocket stove. It is very efficient at getting the most energy out of the wood; that's why it was surprisingly fast. With all the available accessories, it can be a whole cook kit. I have a pot and 2 cups that can all nest inside the bottom, and a grate, or grill, for the bottom so I can cook on that. I also have their insert for the top that will hold a pan so you can cook something and boil your water at the same time. The cups even have silicone lip protectors. You just have to careful not to let the kettle go dry while on the fire or coals. I got excellent service from the Kelly Kettle people. It arrived here in Washington State faster than many things that ship from the U.S.!
