Thank you for sharing. I bought these seeds recently, glad I did. Love taking care of the pollenators.. I don't drink alcohol but I drink teas I make daily. 🦋🐝🐞🥀🌱

The wildlife in my yard love to eat borage as it tastes like cucumbers and the cucumbers are not set yet.

Enjoying your unique site ,historical tie in information. Started borage seeds last spring. They self seeded starting late February. I'm in zone 4b, Colorado. Borage is homage to our pollinators, memorizing.

Here in the low desert of AZ Borage grows best in the winter or in the shade

Very interesting information, but "not bad" is not the ringing endorsement I need in order to try it. 😁 What I'm interested in is what you do with it when it is finished for the season and how do you know when that is?
@BarbaraMelera Жыл бұрын
You grow borage mostly for your pollinators and for the role it plays in attracting beneficial pollinators for tomato plants, especially. When finished in the fall I throw the plants in my compost pile. I happen to enjoy its beautiful flowers throughout the summer. The role it plays in protecting tomato plants is what elevates it to great from not bad.

Do you know why my borage has a bunch of unopened flowers? It was flowering awesome a month ago and now it looks like I have a hundred closed up flowers?
@BarbaraMelera3 ай бұрын
I don't know specifically, but I can tell you it has something to do with the weather they experienced in the past 6 weeks. They will probably bloom, but it may take 1-2 weeks unless the weather continues to interfere.
