You got some amazing images! Excited to see what you do with them 😊. I love elephants, owls and old suitcases. This will be fun! Now, off to harvest. I have some ideas floating in my head. Lol

Can’t wait to see the black double window page spread showing fancy gold shoe, then black leather boots. And the suitcase stack you found, I’m screaming! Lucky! So many possibilities with this harvest. TY!

I am new to collage. So fun to watch you! Your compositions are amazing and my favorite of all artists. You often refer to an object as a Karen or kern.....what does that mean please? I have tried to look it up and can't seem to find a definition. Also .....in the collage world ....is it considered bad form to make a copy of a page if you like what is on both sides? Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent!

Thanks Virginia... it is a British/Irish thing! British people call them "karens" and my irish friend calls them "karns". They are stacks of rocks!!!

You're welcome Tara. I'm of British/Irish descent myself. A lot of the hiking trails where I live, are marked with rock cairns.

In Ireland you see them, in rural areas, to mark the roads, and folklore says you leave a little present of food for the fairies...it's always a good idea to stay on the right side of the fairies. 🙂
