Who doesn't love Morgan Fairchild? Her beauty, talent, intelligence, humanitarianism and down-to-earth personality make her a rare commodity in Hollywood. Despite all the artifice, glamor, and brutal realities of surviving a long show business career, Morgan Fairchild has somehow managed to carve out a reality for herself (as she says in the interview) that has kept her grounded, centered and definitely aware of what really matters in life. She rarely grants interviews, so I was immensely honored when she agreed to sit down with me and chat about her amazing life and career. I'm becoming known as "the interviewer of legends", and Ms. Fairchild is definitely one of my favorite legends!! I hope you enjoy this definitive interview with a great actress and role model.

@harveybrownstoneinterviews89: Indeed. It's sad how people running the entertainment industry foster pigeonholing and cookie cutter products without realising there are so much more about individuals they hire to do parts than their preconceived notions of acting. Watching this interview you can sense Morgan could've easily done so much more in acting, specially comedy TV shows.

Terrific interview. Have been a fan of Morgan's from the first moment as a child wherein I saw her giving "Mork & Mindy" a bad time. Remember her fondly for, among other things, a profile of her in "People" when she went back to New York for stage work in the 1980's, the famous Jon Lovitz "Just ask my wife, Morgan Fairchild, yeah that's it" routine and, of course, as a movie star in "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure." Great to see her again and hear that wonderful voice!

This was fascinating. What a neat lady. I've always admired her and thought she was very beautiful and an excellent actress, but it was very humble of her to admit that when she was young, that, like myself, she was one of those young people who couldn't speak in front of the class because they were so shy and self-conscious. You always assume that someone this intelligent and beautiful always had confidence. How wonderful that she has done so much for the lgbtq community for so many years. I also remember reading years ago that she was an admirer of Marilyn Monroe, and after watching this interview, I can see why she had such empathy and compassion for M.M. She could have been talking about Marilyn when she was talking about the pitfalls of Hollywood and how it could "eat you alive." I'm glad she was so grounded. And her stories about working with old Hollywood, such as Bette Davis, are especially great because the people that worked with those icons of my childhood are becoming fewer and fewer, and all too often we're losing their stories. One thing I really like about your interviewing style Mr. Brownstone is that you don't interrupt . That's one of the things that I find intolerable about almost all of today's talk show hosts, they interrupt too much and often talk too much about themselves and not the interviewee, and also all too often ask too many silly questions. That is not the case with you. Wonderful as always. 👍👍

Oh my goodness what a fantastic and very moving conversation with Morgan Fairchild. I teared up a couple of times. I grew up watching her work. My earliest memory of her is Dallas. And I remember feeling sorry for her in The Seduction. The police wouldn’t help her!🤯 And I’ll never forget the beautiful evening cinematography in that film. Jumping to the 90s, she was absolutely hilarious on Friends!😂 Really loved hearing about the different actors and actresses of Old Hollywood.😃 And I’m in to awe about all of her activism and knowledge. What an amazing woman she is. On a side note, over the years when I used to be on social media, she always replied with such kindness when I would leave a comment for her. Always so kind.☺️ I’d also love for her to write that book and I LOVE the idea of her and the other ladies of the 80s doing a series together.😃

I am 62 and grew up watching Morgan Fairchild, and this interview has completely transformed the impressions I formed of her based on characters she played. I had no idea that she is a science nerd, and I didn't know about her role in AIDS advocacy and education when other celebrities felt silenced and secretive. Morgan should indeed write a memoir about these fascinating career experiences and her hobbies with paleontology, virology, and other interests. Morgan, you are a delight and treasure, and I think I even detected elements of a Southern drawl in a few of your remarks. I had forgotten you were a Texas gal. We all send our sincere condolences on the loss of your partner, Mark. Harvey, your interviews are far superior to any we see on TV these days and remind me of the late show interviews of a bygone era, like those of Tom Snyder who really took time to probe and help us understand celebrities as individuals and not just as public personas. Some of the most informative and quality information and entertainment can be found on KZbin these days, and your channel is one of several that keep me coming back for more edifying, enriching, and entertaining discussions. Thank you for always being so respectful and gracious with your guests. It's refreshing.

SHE should've absolutely *continued as Jenna Wade on Dallas! Nailed it & owned the role instantly. Priscilla was simply very pretty (& a Presley) but terrible actress lol.

Honestly I was a fan until I heard the “ pro-choice” description. I will never understand how she gets the right to life but in her opinion, no one else gets “their choice.”
@harveybrownstoneinterviews89807 ай бұрын
Pro choice refers to a pregnant woman’s right to have an abortion. She believes no one else should have the right to tell a pregnant woman whether she must have the baby.

@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 and i guess she won the the lottery for being pro chosen. As a rape survivor (by my freshmen teacher and coach) i still stand by what i said. Respectfully, i have known several people who survived abortion. One was a baby who came from a mother who was raped in her 40’s, one whose mother was raped at 14. They both chose life for their children. They are equally amazing people, one building water wells in 3rd world countries, the other caring for children whose mothers cannot, and being an encourager like no other. My precious cousin chose abortion and she is a top RN supervisor. She lives in a state of sadness. Please study science about how a child is conceived. No one but God could possibly do that. Those unwanted babies are with Jesus. Did you know that when a woman becomes ill, she still carries cells from children she carried? Those cells rush to the place of her suffering to try to heal her. I say this with love and I wish you health and blessings. .

@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 I don’t see my reply. Again, as a young rape victim by my teacher…. I still believe every life matters and we will be judged for our “choices.” I have sat by my friends and a relative choosing abortion and after all these years they still cry and are very sad. Study science. More and more is being revealed. Mothers who have carried children…. Whether they survived their births or not… their cells remain inside the mom and rush to her defense in time of sickness. All babies who have died prematurely are in Heaven with Jesus. The people I know who survived being aborted are amazing souls. One builds water wells in 3rd world countries , One cares for children because their mothers cannot and she sings like an angel. She is always reaching out to help others. The first was delivered from a rape victim in her 40’s and she raised him. The 2nd delivered by a 14 yr. old who said “I want to keep my baby” when taken to an abortion clinic. Have you ever sat beside someone who has had an abortion while they weep years after? My cousin is extremely accomplished, educated, and is an RN supervisor at a well renowned heart hospital. She carries deep sadness. My first child was unexpected and he has brought so much joy to my life. Who has been aborted that would have already cured cancer, solved world issues? There is something called birth control, or even self control. Abortion is neither. Those little souls are in Heaven with Creator. By knowing Jesus, you will be united with them. That’s all. Respectfully….

My wish is that people are as passionate about the starving ,abused children that exist in our own back yards as much as a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy. Hypocrisy and ignorance at best. Sad
