But NEVER BEFORE has there been a vocal impressionist who can literally “channel” Judy Garland as accurately as Debbie Wileman. If you’re a Garland fan, you MUST get her new album. I’m so happy she agreed to perform live on our show. That was thrilling!!

Wow!!! Loved this interview so much! I will definitely be buying her CD, what a God given talent she has!! When I was young I could do singing voice impressions, but didn't realize it was a talent. I didn't have the confidence, and my parents would have said it was so useless. I of course didn't have the in me what Debbie does!! I'm so thrilled for Debbie, may more excitement be in her future!!! 🌼

One of the things that impressed me about Debbie's early "Judy" videos was the fact that so many of them took place in the back seat of her car. There was something SO Judy-esque about that setting, bringing memories of leaving the hotel with layers of clothing on because the bill couldn't be paid (a silly and yet bittersweet episode depicted in the TV miniseries "Me and My Shadows"). I would have liked for you to have asked Debbie why she chose the car's back seat for those tapings.

I can tell you why. There are 2 reasons. She liked the acoustics in the car. And she had a neighbour at the time (she lived in a semi detached house)who complained about the singing. So she sang in the car if she knew the neighbour was home.

'The Small World of Sammy Lee' (poster) - I'm immediately impressed. Clearly Debbie has the heart, personality, and skill/talent. Photogenic too; was she born with that hollywood, Hedy Lamarr nose Lol. It would be fun to see her on the Graham Norton show, also 'Jools Holland's hootenanny'.
