I'm guessing that ramp is so solid for both low water level access and to stop erosion?

I remember when they redeveloped the dam area. They don an amzing job on it. I also think many moons ago they use to have power boats on the dam, thats why the boat ramp. But it was stopped also, maybe by the same people that you love so much who moved over to 4wding. Jokes aside I agree with you about the idiots that stuff places up for the rest of us.

Probably only a matter of time before the hoons ruin camping at Wellington Dam as well. We have seen so much rubbish left there.

Regarding the closure of the visitor centre in Harvey Im sure you will know that the Rockingham Visitor Centre is under the same threat. Cant understand the thinking behind these decisions.

The shire councils are penny pinching and it is going to hurt local businesses in the end. The local visitor centres have always been an important focus for travellers.

How long ago did you film this? I'm surprised to see the visitor centre still open there

We often film videos quite a long time in advance and this one was mostly done last year. It was really sad to find out the shire had decided to close the visitor centre. We always dropped in there when we visited but now it looks like other shires are following this backwards step and closing their visitor centres.

I think there's plans to reopen it and consolidate a few places on one site including the CRC. Ill try and find the page on the shire website about what they're planning
