Some of my best performing tires were OBO's. Nice to see their still in business!😂🤣

Hey Donut Dan, OBO tires at the end of a swap meet or flea market can be free, for some reason, I remember paying $10 for these.... Thanks for Ur understanding, encouragement, watching, and commenting!!!

When i was younger we raced in old fields , But we used old cars
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey Terri!!! We had an old rambler up in an apple orchard that we would race about, only had the one car up there. Someone little brother duffed it into a tree, then the radiator, battery, and alternator disappeared, some one torched the remainder, and drunken partiers jumped on the roof, hood, and trunk.... It was still there, last I checked about 40years ago.... Thanks for the memory, Ur thoughts, watching, and commenting!!!

Hey Tbone!!! I think U have magical powers, I went to answer this comment yesterday and my computer locked up, I'm talking gray screen, it took 3 restarts to get rolling again! LOL!!! Have I mention that I dislike microsoft??? I think it is a great quad for $425!! It needs a little more work, but, for now, I think it is a fun ride!!!! Thanks for Ur thoughts, encouragement, watching, and commenting!!!

I had 2 LT230 Quadsports a long time ago. I never did like the oil level glass. They was fun and had a lot of torque to me. They was chain driven. You got a good one. On your cost it’s also your time and they charge like $80 to $95 an hour to work on em at the shops in town. So yeah that makes a difference.
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey Calvin!!! ATV shops around me get between $100 and $150 per hour, crazy coin there!!!! I like this Suzie, for a hard tail, it rides better than you would think, must be the seat. I had a couple of chain drive quadrunner 230 atvs, both had the motors removed before I got them,,,, 1 frame was bent, but, it had a good rear, the other was straight, but, rear was blown.... I was going to put them together, add a 200s motor, and have a nice machine... Ended up trading the frames for some 300ex parts if I recall correctly.... Thanks always for Ur thoughts, encouragement, watching, and commenting!!!

I’ve been stuck in reverse all my life ! Lol. There’s a lot of good machines that aren’t Hondas but my choice is Honda for many reasons and outboards I like Johnson and snow machines I like Polaris ! It’s all in what your comfortable with !
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey Dave, U R right, it is what one is comfortable with, I like this little suzie as it is so much like a Honda, a very simple machine,,,, Some of the China stuff is a lot like Honda, especially the smaller stuff, I guess that is Y I like to work on it.... Not much for riding the China stuff, but, I don't mind working on it!!! Thanks for Ur thoughts, understanding, watching, and commenting!!!

Hey Marcel!!! It was a beautiful day and my atv was running well, I have a trx350 4x4, U R right, I think the suspension was set up for a 500 lb gorilla, because it doesn't help much with me on it.... Thanks for Ur thoughts, understanding, watching, and commenting!!!

It's not bad at all certainly worth the money and time it would be good to see how you check the parasitic discharge maby even just a short one anyway all the best to you and all your loved ones

Great ride, tales of hoodlums, reversed rims and plenty of reverse! Audio is better and the project runs fine, what more could you want for one low price. Nice job Harvey and I've got plenty of gripper material for that seat. Soon.

Hey Steve!!! I was an ATC hoodlum, kind of an old one at that! There is nothing like playing hide and seek with a deputy dog on a warm summer night. What should we do with the foam, U want me to attempt a patch on that? I do like the lt230 suzie! It is a fun machine!!! Just a few more repairs to make it more perfect.... Thanks always for Ur thoughts, understanding, future seat repairs, watching, and commenting!!!
@atvseatexchange21762 жыл бұрын
@@HarveySpooner Leave the seat to me, just keep the foam dry, not to the touch on the top but water collects and stays between the seat pan and the bottom of the foam. I just did an Arctic Cat seat that was dry to the touch but weighed a few pounds too much because of water weight. Let me know if you want to meet, I'll bring all your stuff and I'll get the seat back to you asap.

Hey harv, long time subscriber, you hit a homerun on this one, that was my first quad that I bought brand new in 1985, I bailed A lot of hay for that one, you have a really nice machine there that is actually the original grips, you really brought back a lot of good memories so glad that you are bringing it back to life, as always keep doing what you're doing, awesome Channel

Hey Dan!!! I wish U lived near me, I would have U ride it with the Keihen carb and get Ur opinion on the performance. The one I had, I remember as being crazy powerful, of course, I was smaller back then, but, once again, I remember, crazy torque! I appreciate all of Ur kind words and encouragement, the positive thoughts mean a lot to me!!! Thanks also for watching and commenting!!

I hate those oil glass to you would think it would be cheaper to just put a dip stick on them my 500 arctic cat has one i dont like it but it sets up real high so i can still see it ok. That seems to be a good one !!
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey John, I hate getting down on my hands a knees to check oil, it is just way too much work!!! I too prefer a dip stick, also makes it easier to determine if there is water or gas in the oil.... Thanks for Ur thoughts, understanding, watching, and commenting!!!

Use them old tires in the garden to grow taters with then use some to put around the base of small trees like apple trees so they don’t get the cuts from the weed eater. Make us all a swing with one lol. Tire swing.
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey Calvin!!! I have seen folks who cut a hole in the tire while still on the rim, then they fill them with concrete and they use them to anchor tents, boats, or canopies.... I need the rims from most of the tires, so, I have some work to do to get them apart and sorted.... Thanks always for Ur good suggestions, thoughts, watching, and commenting!!!

Hi, I have a problem with a 300 ATV when the engine heats up and the CD heats up and you can't get your hands on it, I have a spare CD and when I put it on it runs normally until it warms up
@HarveySpooner2 жыл бұрын
Hey Vultur!!! Hard to tell without actually touching it, but, I would think that the pulse generator is going opened, (most likely), or short circuit when it heats up.... I would check the resistance of the pulse generator, run it until it died, then I would check the resistance again.... That is where I would start.... Thanks for asking, watching, and commenting!!!
