My friend played a game with that glitch, but I told him “Maybe it’s a one time thing, let’s just try one together.” And I had that exact same issue, towers were invisible, autos were, and so were abilities. It was really sad to see honestly

I had that same exact issue in alpha 1 on pc. It went away in alpha 2 and 3, but I also reinstalled it for those.

I've played on my Series X for the last 3 Alpha's haven't had any issues at all. Game has looked beautiful and ran beautifully basically every game (outside of actual performance issues server side)

This game was the definition of "unplayable" on console. Game barely runs 30 fps on a Series X, abilities are invisible, comms straight up lag the game every single time, and the community is the worse ive ever seen. I had 5 rage quits in a row yesterday at 10AM-2PM on a Friday. First was a Fenrir who left because Bellona solod him ONCE, second was a Hecate solo who left because we had a Zeus carry (while hes playing HECATE SOLO), third I think was a general DC because he suddenly left in a team fight and our mid left because trolls weren't surrendering, fourth was a Anhur carry who was getting demolished by Zeus carry, and the fifth was because our Solo Bac was running it down feeding the enemy Bellona (She had 9 kills in 8 minutes). Keep in mind, this was in the span of 4 hours. This community is the worse ive ever seen it and Im not looking forward to playing this game if there's this many crybabies on it.

Yea ttk is is way to fast. Zues and anubis kill everything in 0.5 seconds from lvl 5-20 progressive getting faster till lvl 20.

I can’t wait for Terra’s release. I feel her whole kit is limited in smite 1 which is why you don’t have any skin that does her abilities any differently. Her monolith smash is the same effect for every skin; a burning circle on the ground …. No farm skin, water skin, snow skin - nothing. It's funny because I never liked carry in Smite 1 but for whatever reason I am loving it in Smite 2. I have like 80% accuracy in smite 2 whereas in smite 1 it was probably around 60%.

All they need to do is just replicate Smite 1 in a new engine, don't change anything, don't remove cart art, don't remove skins, export all skins from 2017 onward and refund anything before, with a PvE side mode and collection mechanic next to the competitive mode (that's dying but people are putting wool in their ears about it) But they won't and the game will just fuckin' die on arrival and be another "oh Hirez!" with canned laughter

I missed the alpha test unfortunately but I'm really hoping that they ditch the gotcha game bullshit smite 1 had. Everything about it's monetization style made it feel like a trash mobile game looking to part idiots from their money. Given this one actually has a legit price tag associated with even ownership of the title, hopefully skin prices will come back down to "micro" transaction level, where they belong.

Idk, gods were boring, kinda the same way of playing them as in smite 1, i wish hi rez took more time into designing/reworking gods in smite 2, about cc, not sure, you cant properly do combo 3+2 with ymir at level 3 which kinda sucks (by not properly i mean i cant land 2 after stunning enemy with 3,) about hp changes, they have to buff towers i think, they are too weak, i saw people diving enemies with at least half hps with 2 kinda tanky items, idk if its healthy for the game, with hp changes everything dies so fast, and because of that it feels like for example the mushroom iteam is weak, in some cases you wont get 2 procs of it before dying i think they should lower it,speed buff is overpowered in compare to others, hope they revert the blue change, blue giving mana feels like doing a chore if you wanna stay in the lane, if mana regen is so good why not let all the laners get this buff hmm? Sucks, cool new item and i hope hi rez will be more creative with them and gods reworking/ designing going foward, they have the tools now, thats it from me for now, and I know no one asked (kinda heh)

Would be interesting if they remove dr and beads and readjust all cc to se how the game feels. Cc should be fix so beads are not needed. Don´t find beads a very fun item it leads to situation were ether you can't play the game until beads are up or you die. And on the other hand it make some abelites usles and are more there to put beads on cooldown then to be an actual ability.

I played before and after the fix and have to say that it was running perfectly smooth before and after so I didn't get the whole thing about canceling the test. But after reading some comments and posts about it it seems like I was pretty much the only one who didn't have this problem. I also played the flash tests. There the performance was really really noticeably bad though. I also found a funny neith bug that can be consistently replicated. If you ult and move the mouse rapidly around and just shoot while doing so you can hit your own team mates and also kill them which hirez should probably look into

The survey (QR code only as far as I could figure out) was (as most surveys are) useless. They did improve some mechanics since the last alpha though. Which was nice because it didn’t feel like they improved anything at all between Alpha 1 and Alpha 2. Honestly though asking me if I think the new UI is better than the old? YHow am I supposed to answer that question it’s awful but it’s clearly not polished. Are you asking for feedback on the layout? The interactivity? Don’t even get me started on the question about communication. Like HUH. I can’t type to anyone. What communication? The VGS? It’s the same but worse and some of the wrong voice lines play on some characters. Who is writing this survey they are not the person for the job.

They put out an email showing it off and I cringed out of my chair, it's the most generic contemporary business redesign possible and throws away smites identity in favor of a "clean" and "clever" aesthetic. I wish they wouldnt try to reinvent the wheel, they have enough of a hurdle trying to get the gameplay to feel like smite, there is no need to water down the menus too when they already have assets.

Smite 2 isn't "saved" until building tanky makes every god reasonably tanky. So far, including what I've played of weekend 3, only 2-3 gods are even REMOTELY consistently capable of being tanky, and one of them gets there without even building full tank. I get that not every god is designed to tank, but why are Ymir and Athena barely tankier than a squishy with a full-tank build while Chaac lives twice as long with only half his build giving protections? The TTK changes also barely feel like they change anything, although the few times it's noticeable imo it's just more frustrating. Also, for the lighting...check your settings. I see how dark the game is in your video, but it isn't for me. Game's brighter than Smite 1 for me if anything.

Not in alpha though, it was very rough in alpha and early closed beta. Also, yes the core feel of the game was established by beta but incremental improvements have still been made over the seasons like reductions to pre-fire and post-times, animation and hitbox changes, etc

My main issues at the moment (now that the game is more similar to Smite 1 gameplay and is way better paced), is the fact that performance is an issue and rage-quitting is still way too common. Hi-Rez needs to take out the option to requeue whenever you click the leave match button, on-top of penalizing people for leaving. I would even go as far as to say to add a strike system in the next alpha test in July, which suspends people for the day, or even the entire testing period, if they reach an x number of strikes. It is absolutely ridiculous that Conquest queues cannot be played because there are way too many people comfortable with genuinely alt-f4ing or pressing the leave match button. There are a couple of bugs where quitting is a necessity, such as the getting stuck in fountain bug, but I find it hard to believe that it's common to the point that 1-2 players are leaving every single game.

Once they swallow their pride with what they can and can't do. -(letting people build 6 "actives" but also tying them to items. glyph system is perfect, why change that? It fills what they're going for flex options with mini passive/actives. -Leaving magical and physical as different stacks and giving some item's both to promote build flexibility is a far better choice than the average player having to figure out the optimal amount of what of each offensive, let alone defensive stat to build per character.

I still feel like they need to add Classes to Smite 2. Not in the same sense as Smite 1, however. Smite 2's classes should simply be generalizations of a character's playstyle and NOT the defining factor of what role they play in Smite 2, as it (mostly) did in Smite 1. Ymir and Bacchus, for example, while supports in Smite 1, always felt more like bruisers than they did tanks, despite being able to be built full tank a be fine, so they should be put into a class for bruiser characters, but bruisers, obviously, shouldn't be balanced around support. The same could be said for mages and healers, yes all healers can play like mages, but they can also be supports. You get the idea, the classes should be added to Smite 2 and should be a generalization of the character's playstyle as opposed to something that defines their role, that way the players can decide where each character goes more than the classes do, and I think that sounds very fun as opposed to the "Well we can't have Ne Zha do well as a support, he's an Assassin!" mentality that Smite 1 had (while I understand why he got nerfed at the time, I didn't like the drastic rework he underwent to make him go from good at both roles to good in one and just okay in the other)

I like the class system Smite has, but I've always disliked how the classes are balanced around roles as opposed to Gods being balanced around them. Like the Ne Zha example, it would've been more fun if they balanced Ne Zha in a manner to accommodate both roles instead of with the goal of killing him as a support.

My opinion as a casual player, been playing for 8 years? I thought the time to kill was a bit too fast... I'm a bit divided about how the economy is way faster now... Kinda like it kinda don't... Visually I think Thanatos is uglier 😅... The teleports on the side of the map are weird... Personally they should do the last battle pass for a free cross gen skin in smite 2 (upon reaching level like 50) they’ve done before, then smite 1 support should end (even tho it kinda already has with battle passes) then smite 2 should overtake smite 1 with full support so the player base isn’t divided else it could be rough
