In this video, I'm sharing my current casino offers from the Carnival Players Club and we are going to take a deep dive to see if I'm saving any money by using a casino offer vs. traditional pricing. And, I'll even tell you how much money I "lost" to get these offers.

Good info. The problem I have is I keep getting offers for ports nowhere near me. Our home port is Galveston yet we get offers for Miami and LA. C'mon Carnival!!!

Good info. I think the best info for comps is not just total bankroll but the amount of daily time spent in the casino. Casinos look at total amount wagered, how much per bet per spin and total amount of time you gave them in play. That's why their point, Players Club, system is so valuable. They know that the longer you stay even if you get a few wins they will come out on top.

You are correct! I'm working on a video that will come out hopefully within the next month that goes over the formulas used by casinos to rate the value of a player. I can't be certain this is the formula used by Carnival but, based on past experience with brick and mortars, it certainly seems to be the case. Spins per hour x average bet x odds is the general rule used by most and my experience with Carnival seems to suggest the same. Still doing research on that one as a lot of it is leading to anecdotal evidence. Thanks for watching!

OK I'll agree with the OBC and casino play coming off your bill, but the cheers not for us, cause we aren't drinkers and usually just get bottles of water in the casino! Can't believe people are paying $4000 for what's really a balcony! But if those numbers make you feel better, go for it! Another benefit or cost depending how you look at it is on Elite cruises you get free parking, or a free ride to and from the airport if you drive! The cost of getting to and from the port, whether its flying/taxi to port or driving/parking at the port is an added expense!

I'm not much of a drinker myself but it is a good way to illustrate value for those that are. The thing I like about cheers is any and all drinks are included.....milkshakes....yummy! And 100% agree about Elite cruises. Those additional expenses add up quick! Thanks for watching!

That's not good. I haven't personally encountered that but I did have a situation where it didn't show up on the landing page but did show up in the booking area.

Cruising to Hawaii in September for a total of $500. Not bad for a 15 day cruise for hubby and I. Casino offer includes drinks anywhere.

I only book the last minute $100 solo cruises. I gamble next to nothing. I've been on 20 in the last 2 years. Works for me

I haven't been on a Carnival cruise in more than 7 years and I still get offers for a free suite and $1000 free play, free drinks and onboard credit:) One of these days I need to go again :) And our bankroll was only $2000 for the trip.

You mentioned win/loss, but the real question points. How many points did you get on those three cruises to get a free suite offer. I am guessing it would take at least 1000 points a day, but I don't really know.

Great question! I ended up with right around 16,000 points all together which translates into about $40,000 coin-in. Seems like a lot but I got really lucky on the last two cruises that allowed me to continue playing for quite some time. The average points per day would be 1600. Thanks for watching!

Great info. Any idea of coin in spent on those ‘23 cruises?

Roughly $40,000. My total bankroll for all three combined was only about $3500. The last two cruises I booked on a Hot Streak with $1200 FunPlay and actually never touched my own money on either cruise. Certainly uncommon but gambling can be good to us sometimes. 😁

Your math is a bit flawed. You should not add in the OBC since this is money you are spending to gamble anyway. Yes, the cheers package makes sense because that is a tangible expense, the OBC and Free Play are soft expenses that you would not be out of pocket. Your table win amount is also incorrect based on the numbers you show.

I see what you mean, however, the reason I've included it is because I deduct that amount from the bankroll I take on board. For example, if my original bankroll were $1000, I only take $600. Good catch on the table win amount. That came straight from Carnival and I didn't even notice. I think they're off by $100 on the Sep 29-Oct 02. I don't remember blackjack treating me that well...lol. Thanks for watching!

How long did it take to get your updated offers after the end of your cruise? Great video and thanks for the information!

I received a "bounce back" offer at the end of the cruise but I recommend ignoring that one, it's usually not that good. My best offers started showing up about 2 months after the end of the cruise on the Carnival website. That's the best place to look to see all of them. You'll get emails (as long as you opt in-I would recommend that) and mailers as well but the website is the best place to find them. Thanks for watching!

@@cruisingoncomps Ok thanks for the update. I got the "bounce back" one too. Agreed, it seems to be only ~$150 off the total cost of the cabin. I earned 2,400 points on a 4 day cruise and only lost $300 so curious to see what I get. I'll update here once I get new offers.
