Leo has hit the ceiling multiple times and I’d say he’s the reason why there’s so many good players today. Everyone has seen all of his sets on YT. Imagine every opponent you play against has watched all of your sets and knows all of your habits and/or copied them. Helped & Trained Sparg0 who is practically the current best Player. Longest tournament win streaks. Dethroned & Retired multiple Top Players before him. One of the original smash prodigies. Defeated entire rosters of smash players from different countries. Has won multiple Super Majors and has made the most money from tournament earnings out of any other Smash Player in the world. I think it’s maybe wrong to say the he’s the best player now but he’s definitely the best Smash Ultimate player in history. No one will be able to take that from him.

He hasn't returned. He just gets brief moments where he plays at his peak opposed to before where he was at or near peak 70 percent of the time. And since his peaks are lower than other top players it was his consistency that made him untouchable now he's debatably top 10. There shouldn't be any talk of a return of the old Leo until he performs well multiple tournaments in a row rather than being very inconsistent.
