It's Pride Month, but with one-third of the year now dedicated to LGBTQIA+ national holidays, what does “Pride” even mean? Aldo travels to West Hollywood to ask people what they think of Pride Month and whether the overt sexualization of the LGBTQ movement has gone too far.

I have a handful of gay conservative friends and they sound exactly like the older man with the drinks. One of them told me, " I would rather be back in the closet than deal with this bulls***". Another one of my gay friends said, " Life was better when everyone minded their own business. Everyone knew I was gay and nobody cared".

Believe me there’s a lot of us like that, all my gay friends hate all this pride crap, it’s a very loud minority, usually younger people coz they now get accepted more than in the past and the more camp they are the more they act up like attention seeking kids

@@peterjermey7235 what a ridiculous disingenuous question. We oppose it promoted like it is when it doesn’t need to be, especially to children and done so over the top it’s annoying. @@TayWoode Pride is the campaign for equal rights. It isn't a ridiculous question to ask if they oppose the aims of the movement. Having done all my education in a system where it was illegal for teachers to say anything positive about gay people, I disagree that kids should not be allowed equality. It's really really damaging for gay kids to be in an environment where adults pretend gay people don't exist or, worse, are dangerous to society

The notion of "Tolerance" is what was used to convince everyone to let this lgbt stuff go through society, ahnd now that it's integrated, "Acceptance" is the word pushed at everyone. These two terms are nearly opposites even though their convepts have some similarities. "Tolerance" is a fairly noble concept in that it means for people to tolerate eachothers differences and lifestyles, in order to focus on what we agree on ahnd live together peacefully. "Acceptance" is the act of accepting others ideologies as good or alright, despite what one might actually believe... Which is pretty darn incoherent, as one can't accept any and all belief systems where many hold values that.contradict one another. It's a sneaky word that at it's base concept is incredibly invasive, pushing it's values onto those who don't believe them and tell them they are veing bigoted for not accepting their ideology. Just mah 2 cents and observation on the cultural change this past decade.

How come it’s ok to wave a gay flag wearing a thong, but being fully clothed holding a straight flag is a hate crime, what is wrong with society.

Can someone explain to me why anyone should have "pride" in how they have sex?

This was rather refreshing. At least they’re thinking about it and they see what is going on. I think what all sane people can agree on is that we need to leave the kids alone.

Tennessee Williams got up in the morning, day after day, applying himself to writing some great plays - not sure those great plays would have been written had he just constantly thought about his "gayness" !

Pride is not the opposite of shame but its source true humility is the only antidote..

They should just go live their life like most people do and leave other people's KIDS alone. No cares. It is just stupid that others have to agree with there way of life.

Even in West Hollywood some aficionados have had enough. There may be others who are more reluctant to come out.

Yes. When pride month turns into pride years the way it has been, plus the sheer lunacy of the way they're acting towards biological women is disturbing at the least.

I guess they are starting to realize they've gone too far when parents started fighting back, because they went after our kids.

Yes, I think it has gone too far. I am a straight white guy. I've had more than one friend who was gay, and while I would like to have seen them straightened out, I thought they were real people with real value, and still count them among my friends. I do hate though those who push their sexual thing into your face. Among my favorite performers is Johnny Weir, because he is that good, including things he's done since. Have a good day.

At least 3 of those dudes had a brain 🧠 left over. I like the last one that talked and the old guy. The bald dude made sense too.

There are millions of men and women that don’t follow this crazy movement. They maybe gay but it’s just gone too far. Let’s just get back to being proud and happy. What you do in your house is your business, what you do in the streets the laws need to be followed. Get a room. Be Happy! ❤
