I’ve watched many of Simcha Jacobovici’s documentaries on his TV series, “The Naked Archeologist” and I’ve come to the conclusion that his life mission is to discredit Jesus, while making tons of money doing so. How have I’ve come to this conclusion? Well, after watching his documentary that came out about finding the lost tomb of Jesus’ Family AND his book ‘The Lost Tomb Of Jesus’, many professional people that worked on the documentary came forward and testified that Simcha‘s so called “facts” were not factual at all and that the viewers were lied to and duped by Simcha. The archeologists he had working with him excavating the tomb, came angrily forward and said that Simcha twisted what they said, and turned what they said, into facts, when it was VERY far from being factual or even ONE BIT truthful. Simcha downright lied. They were also accused of stealing one of the bone boxes that, according to Simcha, would have proven the Tomb was of Jesus’ family, because the “stolen” bone box was supposed to have been that of, James, the brother of Jesus, when, in fact, there was another bone box found and documented, but it was broken. They ALL said that there was indeed another bone box found, but IT WASN’T inscribed with James’ name, in fact, the box was broken and it had NOTHING inscribed on it, whatsoever.They were were furious that Simcha accused them of stealing it, too and how he used different clips pieced together to show that they were stating facts about different things when in actual fact, they were not! I really loved watching Simcha‘s documentaries, but no longer. I trusted his scientific expertise and evidence, but no longer. If he lied here, what other lies have he told us. All his creditabilityis now lost to me and irs sooooo darn disappointing. He is nothing, but a lying, money hungry, grub that’s doing his best to convince people that Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, was married to Mary and had children (who would care if He did marry and have children, but it’s NEVER BEEN PROVEN!). So much for REAL Scientific evidence, because if the scientist is lying, you cannot trust them. All we want are true scientific, hard facts, not lies! Shame on you Simcha!!! If you don’t believe me or want to watch the documentary for yourself where these men tell their side of the story and how Simcha lied about what they said, It’s called “The Jesus Tomb Unmasked Refuting The Lost Tomb of Jesus Documentary”.

I came to the same conclusion myself after watching that episode. Of course there are people out there who use Jesus's name to make a buck all while discrediting Him. It's no surprise, isn't he Jewish? The fact is they will never find His bones or see Him until He returns and everyone sees Him.

I have to say I was blown away by this video. It is so profound, it is healthy to look at this with a modicum of skepticism. Up until they were being told to crawl out of the tomb, I think I was sold nearly 100%. But a few things at the end did bother me. If the builders were so anxious to cover over the tomb, so they could finish building, why did they put in cement walls with a built-in ladder down to the tomb? That wasn't cheap. They just paved over the other tomb, which actually HAD boxes still in them. And it is clear it was actually open for a decent amount of time. Enough time that the locals were dumping religious texts in there, and kids were going in and out... that means people had moved in, kids were exploring, rabbis were dumping, this thing open for a while. The final thing that made me choke a little is the 'directed by' our explorer credit, and then... James Cameron. You know he wants a big finish. Does anyone remember that awful Discovery Channel 'documentary' about 'Real Mermaids'? They actually made that thing look like a REAL documentary, but everyone was actors, and it was all fiction. I believe that the terrible Mermaid thing was made around the same time. The tragedy about all of this is even if this entire documentary was 100% honest, because of the taint of people like James Cameron and orgs like Discovery Channel, the world will discount it. One way to make sure no one will believe you when you cry wolf for real; surround it with fraud. I am still willing to give this the benefit of the doubt, assuming there isn't an equally long video somewhere fact-checking all of this and pointing out how everything is just wrong. This is deep, deep stuff, important, it needs to be looked at carefully. Nevertheless, I was mesmerized.

Let me state my own theory: one of Jesus' brothers had a son named Joseph named after their father who also named his grandson Jesus. Actually, if you look at things historically, disturbing the dead is classic human behavior. Tombs get reused, bodies are left to decay and then are cleared away to make room for more of them. The western motif of a personal, private, eternal resting place is very young, comparatively. Even then, shared sites are still a thing in places with limited space like New Orleans. Really, only ruling and upper class would have a tomb to be held for eternity alone (though, usually not actually alone). The rest of us meager working worms have to deal with the reality that there are more dead people than living people on the planet.
