I have used this strategy a couple of times while waiting for Mrs. Surf while she was attending a conference, great way to kill a few hours. Long story short I made about $50/60 bucks overall and was comped two dinners at the steak house and lunches at the cafe.

As long as it's a decent strategy it should be pretty darn close to 50/50 so with the right bank roll the actual best strategy is plan ahead for a walk away number

I've tried it a couple times. Its ok unless points are hitting all the time. I've tried variations of 5 and 9 instead of 4 and 10 just to see a few more hits

So if the 4 and 10 hit you just ride it out until the shooter craps out or hits the point correct? Then rinse wash repeat? (I'm still new, sorry if this is obvious)

What if same thing but leave your 4 and 10 up if they hit, or even add $5. At my casio $25 is the best buy because it pays $49. So maybe just start with 50 on don't and buy $25 on 10 and 4 and leave them up, because the don't covers them. And let them hit as many as they can.

I played this strategy when I'm on a low budget. However, I like to play 5 and 9, instead of 4 and 10.

Please someone answer this question for me. Im new to craps so i must be missing something. My question is about the hard ways. With each die haveing the same 6 sides and each die haveing just one 4 or one 5 its seems the math says your chances of rolling a hard 8 vs a hard 10 is exactly the same. So why does the table say it pays different on hear. Hard 8 = 9to 1 but hard 10 reads just 7to 1????

Hardways all have 1 way to win as the chance of rolling is 1 in 36. They all lose to the 7 (6 ways to lose) but they also lose to the “easy way” of rolling number. There are 4 easy ways to roll the 8, so 10 total ways to lose. The true odds are 10:1…casino pays less, so 9:1 With the 10, there are just 2 easy ways to lose, so 8 total ways to lose. So the true odds are 8:1, casino pays less so they pay 7:1

@@Salmonslayer989 hard 6 and 8 bets get knocked off frequently, to make money you need a fat bankroll, or lots of luck. i have seen 2 hours or more of hard way bets getting knocked off constantly as the easy ways just keep coming. i am learning to avoid them! tough to do. lol

The 4/10 always hits BEFORE the 7 90% of the time.. It's my only system,, BUT ya gotta leave the casino when you hit your goal. that's the trick with the 4/10.. HIT and GET OUT ( after tipping , of course )

Exactly how many dealers said this never loses (a relative phrase as is)? 1? Working a few hours? As a grind, not bad. You can "keep playing" if points hit. You certainly can lose faster, but you are not standing around waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, Jeremy, I would bet against you on "can't lose strategies." The Craps game on my phone LOVES 7's and horn numbers. 7's have the odds, but horn numbers? I would love to play ATS, but not an option. Also, 7's are wild.

Wouldn’t leaving the odds up even after hitting a 4 or 10 help offset the initial risk of $30 on the come out roll? The odds are in your favor of winning the bet after the come out roll.

I can say I lose with this strategy 100% of the time I play it lol. As soon as I put my lay up, can 99.99999999% guarantee the shooter will hit his point...over, and over, and over again, and never even roll a 4 or 10.

also if your point is 8 it’s a 50/ 50 chance for a 7 or a 8 to come out. same as 6, for there is 3 ways to shoot a 7 , 8 and 6 .

5 ways for 6 and 8 and 6 ways for 7 roll with 2 different colors of dice and it becomes very plain

I'm surprised there are so few comments. Waylon calls this kind of thing the greatest strategy. but he uses ladders and it ruins him. You can use different variations on that. Like betting on 6/8 odds. Not a good idea. It wins and loses. It's very hard to get you to 0. Take your 20 percent and go to the whorehouse. Come back in an hour. Lose. Come back again. You'll end up winning 20 percent if you don't chase a black man in a dark room especially when he's not there.

Incorrect. There is a reason you can make a hard way 4 bet and a hop hardway 4 bet. There is only one way to roll a hard number, 1 in 36 chance. There are 3 ways to roll the four and why it gets paid 6:3 or 2:1 for true odds and 9:5 for place bet odds.

The 2,2 doesn't reverse. There's only one way to roll a pair of 2's - both dice turn up 2. It doesn't work like 1,3, which can come up with either the first die showing 1 and the second showing 3 or the first die showing 3 and the second die showing 1.
