The addition has only been the boogiest of complaining stories from Austin about petty revenge or hotels and flight problems most people will never experience. or Taylor swift gossip no one wants or anxiety sharing from QT. Idk it's a way different vibe, the direction less mess is not for me and would prefer the guest interview episodes like last week with moist

Honestly I worked in hotels for years and we wouldn’t have charged him after he closed out for an error on our side. Companies just chalk that up to the cost of business. Chasing someone for 2 years for $160 ends up costing more in terms of that guest will never stay with you again. If he stayed in a high end hotel for 4 nights that easily could be $3k+ so fussing over $160 isn’t worth the effort. The last hotel I worked for charged $800/night for a base room. They’d rather have a repeat customer that run someone away. Plus it’s literally the hotel’s mistake.

100% on Austin's side on the hotel food debate. Even if it takes 2 minutes, asking someone to fill out a form 2 years later is ridiculous imo, even 2 weeks is pushing it. He's rich though! And he ate the pasta
@jacobo710
@jacobo710 Жыл бұрын
@@thefelicits but, that isn't the point. Part of your responsibility as a business is to present accommodations used and itemize all services in to a comprehensive bill. The thought being that when I'm leaving here and paying, I'm paying for all of the services I had used. And to then contact me later and say "hey, you know when you stayed a few nights and ate some pasta? Well we didn't charge you for the pasta" is INCREDIBLY unprofessional. Furthermore, how would Austin even be sure this is an authentic email? There are an abundance of phishing scams on the Internet that use email. At best it's absolutely HORRIBLE business practice by what seems to be a very high end reputable business, and at worst is a scam to steal money by gaining financial information.
@thefelicits
@thefelicits Жыл бұрын
@@jacobo710 yes it is unprofessional, no big company would do this, hence it is definitely not sticking it to the man. At the end of the day, if you used the service you should pay for it; or the employee who made the mistake may have to pay, and that person is probably far less wealthy than Austin is. I agree he shouldn't pay by email, he should call them up to check it's authentic first, but I think it's highly unlikely to be a scam given that he recognises the hotel email address and admits he ate the meal and was not charged for it.
@jacobo710
@jacobo710 Жыл бұрын
@@thefelicits of course. No one is saying that austin isn't well of enough to pay the bill, however, it sounds like this place isnt some low end hotel. It sounds like they are reputable. If I remember right Austin said they are a chain. More than likely a larger hotel chain. I'm not necessarily well versed in Italian law, however, there has to be some sort of ethics issue if they would make the employee who may have made the mistake pay it. Id understand if it's some sort of mom and pop shop, but, this doesn't sound like the case at all. It's a sort of thing that if presented in a court I'm sure would hold very little to no ground. You as a company should take into account and measure how to itemize and charge someone for the services you provide. YOU as a company should also provide enough training to your employees to trust them to make such important transactions. And if you fail to take every proper precaution to ensure every service itemized and charged, then, to a certain extent is somewhere where you as a company should understand where to take a loss in income to then position and improve that system which may have failed. Weather that be; better training, a better pos system, etc. I'd assume it's like a try and fail system. It's like he said with the self checkout thing. Even now THATS still being refined. And even through cashiers you still have errors that happen. Things that don't get charged. To inconvenience someone after the fact when they did nothing to inconvenience you is a bit out of line. I'm also not saying there aren't extenuating circumstances where certain scenarios DO warrant contact after, but, it's like you said. If that is the case they would contact you via phone or something more concrete than an email. They HAVE to have Austin's information. There's no way they wouldn't be able to go out of their way to reach out.

Such a dangerous way to contact someone AFTER the fact that they were given the impression they were charged for the accommodations they got.

its probably a scam made by an inside job worker or a modus operandi. Billing you from an email is very suspicious, since a lot of scam emails are like that (making you pay for something that they think you'll be guilty of, in this instance they know Austin's records from that hotel).

Austin's thoughts on flying times and flying coach are completely unhinged, but he's right about the hotel food. If you drop thousands on a fancy hotel and they forget to charge you a relatively small amount for a meal, you don't chase the customer down for that

I mean qt pushed the drama with celebs which a couple of then had no clue or real grasp on so it’s understandable , not that it was the only thing wrong but that’s when I noticed a big switch in everyone’s attitude
@Angels510

@@raginggameplays1267 Yeah it was too many cooks in the kitchen from the get go. And QT read the room wrong there. Her forcing a topic no one cares about is only a funny gag if they're in on it like Hasan and Will. Not a great idea to do that during a guest episode who just genuinely couldn't give less of a shit and thought that she just genuinely steamrolled everyone for vapid celeb gossip

With QT, I've always wished that there was a way to let doctors feel your symptoms. So many doctors ignore or downplay symptoms and refuse to treat, and I think that is why women can go to a medical tech so fast. Same with star trek medical tech. But I would love some amazing sex tech to feel what each other is feeling. And anything that would help stop SA. Because I don't see a large change anytime soon.

@darkermatter125.35
@darkermatter125.35 Жыл бұрын
@@thefelicits damn that's crazy, thanks for telling me! I liked the first episode of it, but in the second episode I was confused as to what the second episode was trying to do, so I dropped it. I've thought about restarting it. Different episodes sound fascinating, but yhe change between episode 1&2 was jarring. I think it would really help with medicine for women and POC specifically, as well as people who have a history of addiction or "look like pill seekers." So many people get dismissed or overlooked. I have chronic pain, so the way I look when I'm in excruciating pain is a lot different than most. I've been given a label and restricted. People with mental health issues like myself can also be denied as well, because I went through that too after an unaliving attempt in a dissociative state. Which didn't even put me in the hospital, but I was honest about. It makes people lie to doctors, which makes the problem even worse. And it would filter out people who do get prescriptions for abuse. It would save a lot of lives.

I'm always on Austin's side with these things. Luxury hotels are supposed to comp you for shit like this, that's basically the unsaid rule. If they can upgrade people's rooms and charge $15 for water, they can charge you for shit at the moment. It's honestly kind of an embarrassment for them to be treating a guest who pays big money that way. Very odd behavior.

I have a 9 year old great dane, she's the laziest dog I've ever had, and she's absolutely one of the easiest to care for dogs I've ever had. Probably also my favorite dog I've ever had. She's 150lbs of skittish, loving, lazy dog. That all said, shit for her is just more expensive. Enormous dog beds, enormous dog toys (she can straight up swallow tennis balls and some other toys made for smaller dogs), vet bills are more expensive, her arthritis is getting bad, and her medicine is more expensive than meds for a smaller dog. Having a BIG dog is awesome, and I wouldn't trade mine for the world. In fact I'd trade her lifespan for most of my family members' in a heartbeat, but caring for one properly can be difficult, and will always be more expensive. That said, everyone should at least meet a great dane in their life. They're such sweet dogs. Take care y'all, see you next week.

Austin is right on the lost bag situation. I was on a ski trip and United lost all my ski equipment (got it back later). I had to rent the whole trip and they paid for all of it. However, the money came back 2 months later… If they don’t pay for it. You can file a lawsuit, no joke.
