Nice Indy figures! I like the retro style figure and card art. Agreed, the movie was decent. You may be right about the limit to nostalgia for movies.

I hope before the light totally goes out on 80's nostalgia, we finally get a He-Man movie.

@@BlackTerror Yes, they have been trying to reboot He-Man for decades now. So many stalled and canceled scripts/attempts at it so far. I'd actually be interested in a cel-animated style He-Man film that captured the look of the Filmation series, or maybe a CGI animated He-Man as I don't think live-action can give justice to the figures or animated series. The old live-action Dolph Lundgren movie is entertaining, but not truly accurate to He-Man. Lou Ferignou, Arnold maybe could look like He-Man or Skeletor. I don't know about live-action for that content. Or just go the CGI route; Hulk Avengers. But yes, live-action would be the goal if they could achieve it in the next century. Did you hear GI Joe might return with Transformers? It was hinted at in the new Beasts film. Doesn't sound faithful to the animated classic series at all sadly.

@@BlackArroToons Netflix actually did a continuation of the Filmation He-man recently but sadly it stunk. I don't know why the 80's MOTU movie couldn't get it right, even though I still liked what we got. Conan, Beastmaster, and Red Sonja all came out before it, looked close to what a He-man movie should have been and probably cost less to make. Just make a MOTU movie that looks like the old painted promo art. It was dark and badass looking. Rise of the Beasts was decent but nothing special till the end with the GI Joe tease. I freaked out! Made me mad about Rise of the Beasts then. Why not go straight to the awesome crossover movie instead of making another c+ movie? But even so, Snake Eyes the movie was terrible so my expectations are pretty terrible.

@@BlackTerror Good points! Yes, I never saw the newer version of He-Man on that channel but heard it had mixed reactions. Those are great 80s classics, and yes, they definitely did a lot right for the genre. Yes, the old promotional art on the box art and figure art too. Agreed on Beasts too. It was okay, but I was like, "Wait, GI Joe?" I want to see a GI Joe movie based on the classic 1980s animated series, but they keep switching things up. Yes, that Origins Snake Eyes movie was everything but what Snake Eyes is all about. All that build up and then literally 1 second of Snake Eyes in his mask. Not good. Thanks! They were hinting at a M.A.S.K. GI Joe film, but are going with Transformers instead it seems. Oh well.

Those are for fun like you said, the little one is meh, the 6 inch one looks real good, I preordered the diamond select jumbo 12" of the original kenner cause that's my scale, nice run down, I would say you nailed it.

As a fan of misguided artistic decisions and cheap knock off toys, I can appreciate the jankiness of the new 3.75 Indy. Its like how Toy Biz knocked off the Super Powers line. The smushed in face has a charm to me on this Indy. The 6 inch though feels like a classy art piece! Everybody should have one. I loved the 12" Snake Eyes figure you got!
