It's hard to compare Hasbro Beys to Takara Tomy anymore. They are 2 totally different products and really have no relationship to each other for a while now. Hasbro went into a total different direction with their Beyblade line and honestly not sure why. I would love to hear their reasoning for the switch. I can't imagine people were complaining about the Beys matching what's in the anime and wanting something completely different to play with. I think having the connection to the anime makes the Beyblade feel a little more special and by delivering something completely different I think you lose that authenticity of what the product should be. I am also really not sure why Hasbro is not at least delivering on the full paint scheme of the Beyblades. By leaving out a lot of color and paint on them, the layers are not even visually looking like they should which at the very least is something they should be delivering on. One thing Hasbro will get props on are their stadiums. I love the inovation they bring to that! *Personally one of my biggest frustration with Hasbro Beys, is the loosness in them. They now burst way to easily and because of that can ruin the fun of having good battles that last. A burst should happen once in a while due to a great hit that forces a burst. Every battle should not end with Beyblades bursting all over the place.

Not a fan of Quad Drive BUT every Bey is customizable 👀 On the plus side we get a new system/stadiums. Even with all the complaints, the systems are still anime accurate. Could they do better YES OF COURSE! But at the end of the day you could just buy TT instead 🤷🏽‍♂️ This isn’t the first time they did this with Spryzen. “If that’s the only option” I really don’t mind because it’s not like we don’t have pro series as well. Bashing hasbro because it’s far off from TT is flat out biased. The hasbro meta is pretty underrated if you collect & customize but most fans gave up on its meta BECAUSE OF TRENDY OPINIONS LIKE THIS HERE. What’s the point of hasbro’s existence if only to reproduce the same exact products as TT Beyblade ? IMO they’ve actually been pretty innovative without layer gimmicks. You want super OP beys stick with TT & I’m a big fan of Takara Tomy btw but the hasbro hate is wayyyy overblown 😡🙅🏽‍♂️ Y’all do too much.

The thing with the anime is that they try to hide what they’re taking away by replacing lines. I’ve heard examples like “spriggans free spinning bits and pieces” when referring to the chassis or something like “neat trick” when astral switched to spin/driver.

Hasbro doesn't really "nerf" anything. Nerfing a Beyblade would be assuming they had some understanding and minimal care for their product. They just make dumbdown, much cheaper versions of the original Beyblades so they can make a bigger profit. It's why they cut all the gimmicks. Less material used + inferior quality + charging the same price = bigger profit. Hasbro has abandoned the Beyblade franchise years ago, they are just milking whatever they can.

They removed Savior Valkyrie's bound ability along with the awakening gimmick, they removed Vanish's rubber so it can't even spin steal which just shows that they don't care, they made their gravity rings plastic as opposed to TT's armor which is metal, and they separated Shot so it can't jump anymore, so tell me how they don't care, all of their QD Beys look like fakes at this point.

Honestly Hasbro’s beys are getting pathetic compared to when they first started out with Beyblade Burst because you have a lot of missing details and most of the gimmicks they create for each series of Beyblade Burst aren’t even good. The only thing that Hasbro can get right is the beystadiums and that’s just about it.

Honestly, the spryzen chip is strange they didn't make it dual spin, however, the astral blade is dual spin. It has the holes to insert right spin and left spin cores.

this screams cutting costs to me, like how food products shrink to keep their current price tag while masking it getting more expensive, due to fuel rising in price, you can imagine anything plastic will get WAY more expensive as a result, you have to decide to keep the build quality and raise the (already overblown) price, or cut corners/costs and keep customers at least happy enough to keep spending

The worst thing in this is that even if the bey is a lot cheaper product than takara tomy's one, it is more expensive in our stores. when i check amazon jp, guilty luinor is 10 euros, in france every quad drive bey is 15 euros. When you produce cheaper products, lower the price at least Hasbro. I totally agree with the weight nerf, or maybe nerfing some gimmicks, that makes the game more playable in time, making old beys still usable against newests. But for quad drive this is too much, spryzen without side switch is not good at all.

Ah yes Hasbro's infamous paint budget or lack thereof. I have the same problem with guilty that I had with vanish. Why paint one flame but not the other. Or in this case why paint one set of eyes but not the other. It just makes the beys look like incomplete half done knock offs. Also losing dual spin for spryzen is the last straw for me. Dual spin is Spryzens whole thing. They didn't take out dual spin in hypersphere when they took out every other gimmick from every other bey. They also didn't take out dual spin in speedstorm when they couldn't get the flip gimmick to work, so why now? Honestly I think that after being labeled inconsistent by the fans during their last 3 systems of beys, Hasbro was like "Ok you want consistency we'll give you some." "Every bey in the new season will have no gimmicks at all. How you like that?"
