Love it when spot makes the effort to also include footage of the actual unboxing/unpackaging of the figures, it's like asmr to my ears hearing the cuts of the plastic package, opening of the plastic covers, like I'm in that moment with him. Gambit looks really good. It's as if he was pulled straight from the X-Men animated series. I love the head sculpt. The hair has a nice sense of flow and motion. The paint application is clean. The figure is nicely articulated. The seamless look is much appreciated. However, I'm not a fan of the soft rubber that was utilized for the staff, but that's just my own personal opinion. I wished that Hasbro would include display stands with the figures, even if it's just a plain plastic display stand. It's better than nothing. Thanks, Spot! As much as I love the X-Men 97 animated series, Hasbro's lack of distribution and ridiculous prices, have made me re-think my own hobbies. It's sad, 2 years ago 6" Star Wars Black Series figures were $19.⁹⁹ or $18.⁸⁸ at Wal-Mart and the 3.75" figures were $12.⁸⁸ or $13.⁹⁹. Now however Star Wars Black Series figures can cost anywhere from $27.⁹⁹ to $45.⁹⁹ ?!?!? And the 3.75" figures are now as much as the 6" used to be at $19.⁹⁹! No offense but the last three figures I bought have ALL had screwed up paint applications, one had really weak joints, and another was just not worth the $29.⁹⁹. The fact is their products have gotten worse while the price has skyrocketed! I wanted the last series of X-Men but no store ever had any in stock. I found ONE Cyclops, and later one Storm and she was hidden under a shelf. I just can't support a company like Hasbro anymore. Maybe Gambit since I don't have his character. I limited my collecting to X-Men and 🕷🕸Spider-Man🕸🕷. But as with X-Men, Spidey's waves were also nowhere to be found. So if I see one fine, but I WON'T buy ANYTHING off of eBay and support Scalpers and Scalping. They've destroyed the hobby. When Hasbro saw fans would spend $70.⁰⁰ to $125.⁰⁰➕+➕ for a figure they shorted production and jacked up their prices. Sorry I'm done.

These Xmen 97 legends are really good. I really hope they give us a proper Spiderman the animated series figure with out the cell shading to go with these guys

I just ordered Wolverine, Gambit and Rouge from Target. I purchased Magnito when I was there. I did find Wolverine and Gambit in the "wild" at another Target. I have seen Bishop. No luck on Storm or Rouge at the stores. My Rouge will not be arriving with my Wolvie or Remy though.

Hi there, Thanks for the review. You're right I do like how they sculpted Gambit just the way he is in the animated series. He's got a lot of cool accessories that he has 2 left hands, one is like holding a single card and the other he just threw 3 cards all at once.
