"Wrong information-no one gets 3,500 euros net in Germany for a PhD unless they are working for large companies like BMW or Mercedes, and even there, such amounts are very rare. The best-paid PhD stipends are given to Marie Curie fellows, where I've seen people get up to 2,500 to 2,700 euros, with rent sometimes covered. Someone mentioned that in Munich, PhD students get 5,000 euros net-this is completely incorrect and laughable. They might be confusing gross (brutto) and net (netto) amounts. A 5,000 euro gross salary for a PhD student is impossible or extremely uncommon. The average PhD stipend depends on the project, typically ranging between 1,800 to a maximum of 2,300 euros net, with a rare maximum of 2,500 euros net." Post docs earn up to 3000 netto.

Aoa haseeb bhai. I have minor issue of spelling mistake in my father's surname . In passport and CNIC it is written as "khurram" while on all degrees and marksheets it is mentioned as "Khuram". ​​@@HaseebAliThe information regarding the PhD salary/stipend is wrong. PhD salaries are generally provided based on the TV-L E13 or TVöD Bund (pays a bit more than TV-L E13) regulation. If a person gets 100% amount at Level 1 based on one of these regulations, then the max net salary for an unmarried person would be around €2800-2900. Private companies might pay a bit higher than this amount. Also, married people will get higher amount due to lower tax deduction.
