Why? I showed this video to a guy who taught electronics at Steven's Point back in the day to see if it was right, because I couldn't parse out how to properly use JUST a multimeter by myself, and he said it was good... He also helped me figure out how to test the equipment I needed to with the equipment on hand.

best regards it is mot commonly used as a protection device for next circuits for more details you can check video number 485, 486 for unidirectional TVS 495 & 498 for bidirectional TVS (theory & practical)
