This match was a good one. But these kind of tournaments often show the receiver of each lost point always seeming a bit baffled and underwhelmed by whenever a point is given to the other side... which i kinda find it hard to blame them. Sometimes these points can be like hair-touches.

Anyway, I suppose this was decent as far as point karate goes, but Hashimoto really blew it at the end by losing his balance and giving up the easy 3 point score. I don't know whether it's legal in this format, but when you lose your balance in full contact fighting, you can recover by sweeping your opponent's legs and then either they are on the ground and you recover, or you are both on the ground. There are a lot of things that are UFC legal or dojo specific legal which aren't legal in points karate, which is another reason I really dislike points karate.
