I thought of another way for how this au would work, if that’s okay. Sorry about how long it is, but I think I covered almost everything. During Final Selection, Giyuu's eye gets injured and he starts to cover it up (technically, it’s the wrong eye for the main Bungou Stray Dogs timeline, but that’s not as important). Sabito died during Fijal Selection, and we know that Giyuu was so depressed over Sabito’s death to the point that he says something like “if I thought about it, I wouldn’t stop crying” years after it happened. We also know that Final Selection happened when he was around 14, same as when Mori met Dazai. So Giyuu tried to kill himself after Sabito died and Mori became his doctor. He was then invited into the port mafia to be Mori’s witness like in Bungou Stray Dogs. Dazai agreed on the condition that he was still allowed to do his demon slaying duties and could keep his lives as ‘Giyuu’ and ‘Dazai’ separate. It’s not really about protecting the innocent for him at this point, he simply hates demons because of what happened to Sabito and Tsutako. He became a Hashira about a year or two (we know Giyuu was a hashira when Kanae was still alive, so he had to have become a hashira at around 16 or 17) after he became an Executive (at 15) in the Port Mafia. He wasn’t going to agree, but he thought throwing himself into more work would give him a reason to live and that he would be replaced quickly. He also knows how few people are qualified for the position and thinks it shouldn’t be left empty, even if he’s already busy as an Executive. Because of this busy schedule of two incredibly demanding jobs, he tends to go missing from each for periods of time. When he takes demon slaying missions he can’t work for the Port, when he’s doing missions for the Port he can’t be demon slaying. This is another reason why some of the Hashira think he looks down on them (doing things unrelated to demon slaying when everyone else devotes pretty much all of their time to it). After Oda dies, he devotes all of his time to demon slaying. He figures that this is the first step to becoming the good man Oda wants him to be. It’s also why he agreed to help Tanjiro and Nezuko so easily (“save some orphans”). His grudge against demons has mellowed out some and demon slaying becomes about protecting people for him. Demon Slayer canon happens while Ango is clearing Dazai’s record. Muzan is defeated when Giyuu is 21, and, while in Bungou Stray Dogs canon he joins the ADA at 20, a year isn’t much of a difference (we can say that he’s either a year older or everything happens a year later). Because Muzan was defeated, Dazai suddenly finds himself without a way to fulfill Oda’s wish. He pulls some strings, joins the Armed Detective Agency, and Bungou Stray Dogs happens. He still keeps in contact with people from Demon Slayer, but spends most of his time with the Agency. As for the almost 100 year difference between these fandoms, I don’t know. Maybe the Demon Slayer Corps are just traditional and secretive, so they use the Kasugai Crows instead of phones and stuff like that? This is really the only part I can’t fully explain.

Hi! I love the video! The only thing I will mention is the background music overlapping the other audio. Since the video is slowed down (to where you have to put it at 2x) you don’t exactly need to put anything over the videos audio. I only say this because it’s hard for me to hear the regular audio as it is even without an overlapping sound added to it (mainly because I am legally deaf and it’s hard enough to hear already). I’m not saying this to be rude btw! Simply just giving a bit of constructive criticism :) P.s. for anyone who would be interested or curious to know…I do not wear hearing aids, as they give me quite the horrible headache when wearing them since I am not used to hearing so much noise. I do own a pair, I just decide not to wear them because they cause me physical pain (both for the headaches and ear pain) so yeah…. Edit: I’d also like to add that the breaks are a tad bit long. If you shorten them they would be a bit more bearable for viewers to sit through. And yes, I understand that people can just skip ahead, but still. Even if it’s to make the video longer, I don’t think you should make them so long, maybe put something at the end of the reaction to stretch the video out more, idk.
