I'm so sorry but the way that the audio from library (about losing someone significant to you and eventually forgetting important details about them and the distress that can cause) got put over opal (about a dysfunctional family who all project on, take out on and cope with their problems through the main character, Clare, she copes with this through maladaptive daydreaming (a form of escapism where you daydream to cope with traumatic situations and events, sometimes it's daydreaming about having a better life, sometimes it's daydreaming about being saved or rescued from the trauma and sometimes it's daydreaming about having a worse life which is used as a kind of "well it can't be that bad because this could've happened instead!" by maladaptive daydreamers. I often daydream about being saved from things I've been through or going through traumatic events and then getting support afterwards instead of the lack of support I got, sometimes people will imagine being friends with fictional characters or being in fictional worlds as a part of their maladaptive daydream, I often daydream about connecting with characters I relate to or I believe would give me some form of support if they ever knew me) about being a girl in a billboard across the street from her house, in these daydreams she imagine herself as having the name "OPAL" which is the name on the billboard (the billboard says "OPAL's diner") hence the name of the short film) is so irritating to me. also you can tell which one out of the two I've watched more.
