I thought that to at first but giyuu does hate himself as he blames himself for the deaths of the people he loved because sabito died saving everyone at the final selection that year he was the only person who died. however giyuu didn’t even manage to kill one demon and sabito protected him so giyuu blames himself as he thinks he’s to weak to be a demon slayer let alone a hashira. His sister also died protecting him from a demon so he once again feels his loved ones died do to him being weak so in a way giyuu hates himself cause he feels responsible for the deaths of his sister and sabito

I don't know what you mean, but by the end of the manga, Sanemi, Tomioka and Uzui are the only hashira that survived the final battle, but Uzui is the only one to live past 25 years due to retiring and not awakening his demon slayer mark. (btw, its spelled Sabito, I don't mean to be rude)
