Zenitsu backstory before he got adopted niether Manga also explain it properly: His life was just like Naruto childhood He was ignored and beaten by people He had only one pair of torn cloth and He did not had money and proper food to eat that's why he was so thin his bone can be shown And top of that he did not even know his parents that his parents abandon him or they were killed You didn't see it properly Kanao and Zenitsu both them have same types of past And both of their eyes have blackish darkness in their eyes And Zenitsu and Tomioka are that type of character who don't want to talk about themselves Tanjiro and Zenitsu are very good at hiding their feelings like Naruto while doing fake smile
