I AM BACK!! au giyuu as dazai. all according to bsd canon, all events except that dazai dies after the organizations are done with the decay of angels and fyodor. Then dazai is born in the new world only as giyuu, he remembers his past life (martyr) and wants to live the new one normally. but everything goes according to canon, tsutako and sabito die, he has grown attached to them, so he reacts to their deaths the same way as in canon. sabito makes him feel the same way as oda. then everything goes according to kny canon !Giyuu is more emotional, his character is not so withdrawn, he smiles more often and sometimes jokes, as in bsd, but this smile is fake, all Hashiras he keeps at a distance, also does not spend time with them again because he considers himself unworthy of the "light" and the inner fear of getting attached to someone!

Why do people always make Dazai act like he regrets his actions when he doesn't. He's more logical than emotional and everything he's done has been thought out. He also doesn't care whether people see him as evil or not. He's not a good guy that I know even Odasaku said nothing will fill his empty heart that's why he should be on the side that saves people because Dazai doesn't care whether he's saving or killing it's all meaningless to him. This isn't a rant about this video in particular it's about a few Dazai videos where they make him emotional, kinda soft, and acts like he regrets what he's done when he doesn't. Just had to get it off my chest sorry.

That is actually so right! It is CANON that Dazai is the kind of person that cares more about the outcome than the ways it's done. Everything he does, he does it for a reason. So it wouldn't make sense at all for him to regret it. Of course, that doesn't excuse that often his actions are bad even if they are done for a greater good. But we're talking about Dazai so...🤷🏻‍♀️

Nah ur right, dazai isn't the type to become regretful, truthfully, not many things are outside the grasp of his control, which is why it constantly feels like he's a mysterious and hard-to-interpret character-he knows things that the reader wouldn't in advance. So, to say, there's no widescap event to which he's aware of that he already hasn't predicted, but you could say Oda’s death was a variable he didn't expect, much like Oda himself.

Fun explanation on the 'experiment' part of Dazai's past!: No it was not an experiment actually, sometimes I think people either read or watch with their damn toes in their eyes. It was stated that Dazai had failed a suicide attempt which Dazai was found and taken in by Mori on one tiny little circumstance, he joins the port Mafia. Now you may be like "Oh but he met Dazai when he was killing his Boss!" Or "Mori met Dazai when he killed the old boss!" Yeah, he did, in the ANIME, in the manga they originally met a different way, which like I stated earlier, in a suicide attempt, I don't know why though I think it would have been a fun little idea for the show instead of slicing the neck, but I guess seeing someone getting killed can be more traumatizing to a child or whatever.
